The post is received in a hollow column on which a motor is connected. The column has two positioning passages so that the positioning pin is engaged one of the positioning passages. A frame is connected a side of the column and a pusher is connected to the frame. A rod extends from the pusher and a pressing member is movably mounted to the rod. When rotating the column 180 degrees about the post, the column is conveniently positioned by inserting the pin with the other positioning passage.

    摘要: The apparatus includes a drill motor and a cutter drive mechanism coupled with the drill motor for rotating and advancing a rotary cutter along an axial direction, and a clamping mechanism having a pair of opposed clamping members and an actuator that moves the clamping members relatively toward and away from each other for clamping and releasing a workpicce. The actuator is a fluid-operated cylinder such as an air cylinder, and a fluid circuit associated with the cylinder is arranged such that in a normal state of the fluid circuit the cylinder urges the clamping members together to clamp the workpiece. The apparatus includes a control valve that can be operated to cause the fluid circuit to control the cylinder to move the clamping members apart. One or more springs are connected between the clamping members for constantly urging the clamping members together so that, in the event the cylinder ceases operating, the one or more springs maintain sufficient clamping force to keep the apparatus secured to the workpiece.

    摘要: This bit has an axis and a tip end with an obtuse angle. There are multiple scraping surfaces, each facing counter-clockwise into a longitudinal recess in the tip end. Each scraping surface has a scraping edge at an angle of about 55° to 70° to the axis. Behind each scraping surface the outer surface of the tip end curves down to a rearward edge adjacent another of the longitudinal recesses, the rearward edges each being disposed at a sharper angle to the axis than the scraping edge so that there is some relief, allowing the scraping edge to be more pronounced and enhance its ability to dig into the metal of a deformed screw at points removed from the axis to get a good purchase on the screw.
