Abstract: This spot welding method for an aluminum material comprises: a processing step in which, in a plan view, a circular emboss expanded in a direction of superposition on a second aluminum plate side is formed at a position-to-be-welded of a first aluminum plate; an arrangement step in which positions-to-be-welded are superimposed while the expansion side of the emboss faces the second aluminum plate, and the positions-to-be-welded are arranged between a pair of electrodes; a pressing step in which the superimposed aluminum plates are pinched between the electrodes, and a central side excluding a peripheral edge of the emboss is pressed; and an electrification step of performing pressing and electrification. An electrode having a tip diameter larger than the diameter of a root part of the expansion part of the emboss is used.

Abstract: A system for autonomously calibrating welding quality by using a spot welding gun includes a spot welding gun configured to fix a welding target during a welding process. The spot welding gun is configured to precisely measure a welding indentation depth and perform autonomous welding quality calibration in response to an applied control signal. The system also includes welding robot equipped with the spot welding gun and configured to move to a designated welding point position, a welding controller configured to control a welding current and a welding time of the spot welding gun and inspect welding quality in real time by monitoring the welding indentation depth and dynamic resistance during the welding process, and a welding quality manager configured to receive a welding quality inspection result from the welding controller, transmit a welding condition feedback change, and control the autonomous welding quality calibration.

Abstract: A method of resistance spot welding comprises: preparing a machine learning model having learned a relation between a feature of a test data and a quality of a welding state of a test welding, the test data recording a time series change in an expansion amount of a workpiece in the test welding; and determining the quality of the welding state of a main welding using a main welding data and the machine learning model, the main welding data recording a time series change in an expansion amount of the workpiece in the main welding. The feature includes a first feature and a second feature, the first feature being with respect to a gradient of a change in an expansion amount of the workpiece during an expansion period in which the workpiece expands by energization, the second feature being with respect to a gradient of a change in an expansion amount of the workpiece during a contraction period in which the workpiece contracts after the expansion period.

Abstract: A method for manufacturing a welded structure and a welding apparatus capable of reducing formation of burrs are provided. The method for manufacturing the welded structure according to the present disclosure is the method for manufacturing the welded structure formed by spot-welding a laminate formed of three or more metal plates, at least one metal plate of the three or more metal plates being thinner than the other metal plates. This manufacturing method includes a step of energizing a welding point of the laminate while pressurizing it and causing a main current to flow through the welding point of the laminate and a step of continuously energizing the welding point of the laminate while pressurizing it and causing a large current that is larger than the main current to flow through the welding point of the laminate.
