The device can provide a high-quality image that can easily identify a welding surrounding environment in addition to a portion adjacent to welding light by synthesizing images obtained under various photographing conditions. The device can also improve welding quality by providing an efficient guiding to an operator with respect to a current welding operation state. The device can include a cartridge unit that is located on a main body and selectively shields welding light, at least one camera unit that faces outward and obtains a welding image frame of a welding operation, and a sensor unit that detects a degree of light in at least a welding operation area. The device can also include an image display and a processor that provides a welding image generated through the welding image frame to the image display unit.

摘要: Described herein are examples of welding technique monitoring systems that provide lightweight, self-contained, and highly portable means of monitoring welding technique and/or providing technique feedback. The systems use a portable support platform that can be easily transported to different welding stations/sites, providing a marked advantage over legacy monitoring systems that use heavy welding stands that are difficult to move. After an initial calibration, the systems can consistently and repeatedly monitor welding technique relative to a particular joint with no additional calibration necessary, even if there is sensor and/or platform movement. The systems are additionally able to detect a welding-type operation without the need to communicate with welding equipment. The systems are further configured for use with existing (rather than potentially expensive custom) welding-type tools, thereby keeping the systems low cost and highly portable. The systems are further configured to use off the shelf mobile devices for all the electronic functions, thereby simplifying power/battery management.

摘要: A pulse welding period includes a first peak period for supplying a first peak current to a welding wire, a first base period for supplying a base current smaller than the first peak current to the welding wire, a second peak period for supplying a second peak current to the welding wire after alternately repeating the first peak period and the first base period (n−1) times (n is an integer equal to or larger than 2), and a second base period for supplying the base current to the welding wire. The second peak current is larger than the first peak current, and droplets are transferred from the welding wire during the second peak period or the second base period.

摘要: Systems and methods for weld monitoring systems with unknown downtime disabling are described. In some examples, a local monitoring station may perform activity tracking as part of a larger weld monitoring system. A welding device may send welding data to the local monitoring system, which may be used to determine a current activity. A user may also manually input an activity to use as the current activity. If the local monitoring station is unable to determine a current activity from the welding data or user input, then the local monitoring station determines that an unknown downtime has occurred. If the local monitoring station cannot determine a reason for the unknown downtime, the welding device may be disabled until the user provides a reason for the unknown downtime.
