Abstract: Tailgates, tailgates with integrated workbench structures, vehicle assemblies with the same, and methods of manufacturing, integrating, and using the same are disclosed. The tailgates and other pivoting-structures described herein can include one or more integrated workbench structures that are adjustable into different configurations, e.g., at least a first configuration and a second configuration. This allows the workbench structures to support different functions, e.g., holding, supporting, cutting, drilling, sanding, assembling, and/or disassembling objects, among other things. The integrated workbench structures can include support arms, bracing elements, vises, rulers, fasteners, or other adjustable structures that can be operated, modified, or used in different circumstances. The tailgates and other pivoting-structures described herein can also include elements that provide support in an open position, e.g., in some instances, without the use of cables, arms, or struts.

Abstract: A securing apparatus for securing a valve lever in a set position comprises a base body; a sliding piece; and a screw element, wherein the base body and the sliding piece each have a clamping surface; wherein the sliding piece is displaceably supported at the base body along a longitudinal axis; and wherein the screw element is rotatably supported at the base body and has a thread that is in engagement with a mating thread of the sliding piece so that a position of the sliding piece relative to the base body along the longitudinal axis is restricted to a maximum spacing between the clamping surfaces that can be changed by a rotation of the screw element in order to clamp the valve lever between the clamping surfaces. Depending on a rotational position of the screw element, a blocking receiver formed at the screw element is aligned with a blocking receiver formed at the base body so that a blocking element, in particular a cable, can engage into both blocking receivers in order to block the screw element in this rotational position.

Abstract: A vise for securing a work piece is disclosed which includes a base. A first jaw piece and a second jaw piece can be disposed on the base, at least one of the first and second jaw pieces movable on the base such that the first and second jaw pieces are moveable toward and away from one another. A magnetic assembly can be positioned on the base and configured to produce a magnetic field that extends beyond the base to secure the vise to a magnetically permeable or ferromagnetic work surface. The magnetic assembly can be operable to alternate between an active mode and an inactive mode. The magnetic assembly can produce a magnetic field when the magnetic assembly is in the active mode to secure the vise to a magnetically permeable or ferromagnetic work surface.

Abstract: A workpiece clamping device having at least one base body. A first clamping body and a second clamping body are movably supported on the at least one base body in a clamping direction. A threaded spindle extends along a spindle longitudinal axis. The spindle longitudinal axis is orientated in clamping direction. It has a first thread section for the first clamping body and a second thread section for the second clamping body. A first coupling body has a first counter thread portion and a second coupling body has a second counter thread portion. In a coupling position the counter thread portions are in engagement with the assigned thread section respectively. In a decoupling position the counter thread portion is disengaged from the assigned thread section. In this decoupling position a movement of the clamping bodies is possible without rotation of the threaded spindle.

The clamp is installed in the inner channel portion of the bottom surface. The clamp-spreader is installed in the pair of parallel channel portions of the top surface.
