    Abstract: Circular saws with lock assemblies are disclosed herein. The circular saws include a motor including a motor shaft configured to rotate about a shaft rotational axis. The circular saws also include an arbor configured to operatively attach a circular saw blade to the circular saw. The circular saws further include a switch configured to selectively apply an electric current to the motor and a switch lever configured to be selectively actuated, by a user of the circular saw and via an actuation force, to actuate the switch and direct the switch to apply the electric current to the motor. The lock assemblies include a switch lock, which defines a switch-locked configuration, in which the switch lock resists actuation of the switch lever by the user, and a switch-unlocked configuration, in which the switch lever is free to be actuated by the user.

    Abstract: Circular saws that include blade mounts for circular saw blades and methods of attaching circular saw blades to circular saws are disclosed herein. The circular saws include a motor, an arbor, and a blade mount. The motor includes a motor shaft configured to rotate about a shaft rotational axis. The arbor is configured to receive a torque from the motor when the motor shaft rotates about the shaft rotational axis. The blade mount is operatively attached to the arbor and is configured to selectively and operatively attach a circular saw blade to the arbor. The blade mount includes an inner flange that includes an inner flange blade-contacting surface that faces away from the motor. The inner flange is free from any structure that projects away from the motor and also away from the inner flange blade-contacting surface.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a tool device which is suitable for use with a machine tool, in particular a hand guided machine tool, having a driving device moving, in particular in an oscillating manner, around a driving axis. The tool device has an attachment device which allows it to be fastened on a machine tool such that its driving axis and an axis of rotation of the tool substantially coincide. The attachment device, for absorbing the driving force, has at least two driving area regions, which are spaced apart from said tool axis of rotation and each has a plurality of surface points. The tangent planes to said surface-area points are inclined in regard to an axial plane, which encloses the tool axis of rotation. Furthermore, said tangent planes are inclined regard to a radial plane which extends perpendicularly to the tool axis of rotation. This means that the torque introduced into the tool device by the machine tool, via the driving device, is reliably absorbed.

    Abstract: A work tool includes a spindle and a clamp shaft. The spindle is supported to be rotatable around a driving axis defining an up-down direction of the work tool. The clamp shaft includes a shaft part and a fixing part. The shaft part extends coaxially with the spindle. The fixing part is coupled to the shaft part on a lower side of the spindle. The clamp shaft is supported to be movable in the up-down direction relative to the spindle. The clamp shaft is configured to be biased upward and to fix the tool accessory to a lower end portion of the spindle by the fixing par. The fixing part is configured to be removable from the shaft part and to be integrally coupled to the shaft part only by moving upward relative to the shaft part.

    Abstract: A holder assembly for a circular saw tool includes a blade having a bore. The blade is mountable to a free end of a rotatable shaft or of the tool through the bore. The blade is further adapted to be held in a pressing manner between an inner flange and an outer flange on the shaft. The holder assembly is comprised of at least one depression formed on a circumferential surface of the free end of the shaft, and at least one clutch member (or dogs) paired and mounted about the at least one depression, and located between the bore of the blade and the shaft. The holder assembly provides improved gripping while safety or emergency braking.

    Abstract: A blade coupling mechanism for a hand-held surgical cutting instrument includes a first coupling member including a first blade-contacting surface and a first outer perimeter sidewall adjacent the first blade contacting surface. It also includes a second coupling member including a second blade-contacting surface facing the first blade-contacting surface of the first coupling member. The second coupling member includes a second outer perimeter sidewall adjacent the second blade contacting surface. The bore and the second blade contacting surface meeting to define an inner edge. Blade-engaging protrusions project from at least one of the first and second blade-contacting surfaces. The blade axle includes a multi-axis locking system for securing the blade to the blade axle. The blade removal tool includes a tool base, a blade engagement assembly, and a blade unlocking assembly. The blade engagement assembly is attached to the tool base and has a blade engagement actuator cooperating with at least one blade engagement retainer. The blade unlocking assembly is also attached to the tool base and has a blade unlocking actuator cooperating with a blade unlocking post.
