    摘要: Apparatus and methods for storage and transmission of recipe data (process parameters) for the molding of articles in an injection molding apparatus. A controller includes a flow control microcontroller (MCU) that receives recipe data from a recipe storage microcontroller (MCU) mounted to a mold of an injection molding machine, the recipe storage MCU storing the recipe data defining process parameters for the molding of articles in the mold. The flow control MCU executes instructions for controlling valve pin motions according to the recipe data. In one embodiment, a human operator interface is provided for transmitting data to and/or from at least one of the recipe storage and flow control MCU's, allowing the operator to monitor, modify and/or control the process parameters during a molding cycle and/or to create a modified or new recipe for subsequent storage on the recipe storage MCU.

    摘要: A preformed formwork for forming concrete floor slab for a height adjustable shipping container building structure having spaced apart frame side beams, spaced apart end beams and fork lifting supports. Reinforcing is situated within the internal area of the frame and attached to the side and end beams. A wall receiving feature on the external surface of the side and end beams accommodates attaching a portion of wall panel to the end and side beams. Columns are supported at the corners of the frame. The preformed formwork is dimensioned to equal the floor area of a shipping container so the preformed formwork is able to be easily transported within a height adjustable shipping container containing building components and able to be readily and easily erected and assembled as ether a ground floor or upper level floor of a building structure prior to been formed in to a concrete slab.

    摘要: A 360° tool for making a one-piece composite tubular structure, such as a skin of an acoustic liner, is adjustable between a molding position and a non-molding position. The tool includes a base, a fixed segment mounted to the base, first and second doors hingedly connected on either side of the fixed sector, and third door hingedly connected to the second door. The third door has a circumferential extent that is less than one-fourth that of either the first or second door. Sealing members are provided between the doors. Collectively, the fixed sector, and the first, second and third doors have a predetermined shaped surface that corresponds to a portion of the contour of the tubular structure to be formed. After composite material is applied on the outer surfaces of the fixed sector and the doors, a vacuum bag is formed to surround the composite material and also the joint areas on the inner surface of the tool. The entire tool may be placed in an autoclave for curing. The tool may also be used for the layup and bonding of an acoustic core sandwiched between pre-cured skins.

    摘要: Mold tooling formed of suitable iron-nickel alloys and provided with a hard electroless nickel coating on the mold cavity surface are useful for high volume production of carbon fiber reinforced, polymer matrix, composites. The iron and nickel alloy provides thermal expansion properties for the molding of dimensionally accurate parts. The nickel alloy coating provides a durable surface, without adversely affecting the expansion properties of the mold, and remains adherent to the base metal during the repeated thermal cycling encountered in high volume production of substantially identical molded carbon composite parts.
