Abstract: A tray having: an annular sidewall having upper and lower annular peripheral edges, an upper annular peripheral rim which is integral with the upper annular peripheral edge, and a base having an annular peripheral edge which is integral with the lower annular peripheral edge of the sidewall, wherein the rim, the sidewall and the base are composed of a thermoplastic polymer and the sidewall and the base define a central concavity for packaging a product, wherein the base has a lattice structure of elongate foam ribs interconnected by foam junctions, wherein each foam rib has opposite ends, and each end is integrally connected to either the annular peripheral edge of the base or one of the foam junctions, wherein each foam rib and each foam junction has opposed upper and lower unfoamed solid skins of the thermoplastic polymer on opposite sides of a central cellular foam core of the thermoplastic polymer.

Abstract: The present invention belongs to the technical field of processing and manufacturing of fiber composite material, and particularly relates to an orthogonal structural member in a multi-chamber fiber composite material, a manufacturing process and a film material. An orthogonal structural member in a multi-chamber fiber composite material includes a shell comprising structural panels and at least two chambers formed between the structural panels, wherein chamber walls are arranged between every two adjacent chambers, and are perpendicular to the structural panels; the shell and the chamber walls are made of carbon fiber material or glass fiber material; each chamber is provided with a core made of foam plastic; and the structural panels, the chambers, the chamber walls and the cores are integrally formed through a thermal forming process of fiber material and foam plastic. The manufacturing process includes the steps of preparing preformed core bodies, performing die-filling on the preformed core bodies, and integrally forming a fiber shell and a core structure. The orthogonal structural member in the multi-chamber fiber composite material has the technical effects of high strength, low weight, good stability, high applicability and the like.

Abstract: A seat pad (1) includes a surface portion (1a) configured of a polyurethane foam (11). In the surface portion (1a), wiring grooves (2) for wiring a wire harness (3) are formed. Each wiring groove (2) has a groove width W narrower than the diameter (φ 3) of the harness (3), and a groove depth (D) deeper than the diameter φ3 of the harness (3). A seat pad manufacturing method uses, as a molding die, a molding die that has groove-forming protrusions to form the wiring grooves (2) and has holes formed in side surfaces of the groove-forming protrusions. A polyurethane foam material is supplied to an interior of the molding die, and when a molded product is removed from the molding die, molded portions formed in the holes are forcibly pulled out of the holes of the groove-forming protrusions.

Abstract: A mold for a golf ball can include a pair of mold halves. Each mold half can have a cavity face including a plurality of pimples. The cavity face can have a low-latitude zone and a high-latitude zone. The high-latitude zone can include a high-latitude base surface having an inner diameter equal to that of the phantom sphere. Each pimple can protrude from the low-latitude base surface or the high-latitude base surface. Abstract: A foam article, such as a cushioning element for an article of footwear, apparel or sporting equipment is provided that comprises a foam component, such as a midsole, having a number of beneficial physical characteristics. The cushioning element is a low-density foamed component with a surface skin that encases the remaining foam volume. The cushioning element has a number of foam volumes, arranged to achieve a more consistent foam component. Additionally, the cushioning element includes a series of concentric ridges extending radially outwardly from injection gate vestige locations, and a number of striation bands near the perimeter of the cushioning element. The location of the gate vestiges can be beneficially arranged to produce intersecting flow boundaries that are located away from key strain areas of the cushioning element. The cushioning element is more environmentally-friendly, requiring less energy to produce while still providing acceptable energy return and low density.
