Abstract: A mold assembly has a pressing mold, a shunt cone, and a mold cap. The shunt cone is disposed in the pressing mold to define a conical pressing channel. The shunt cone has a body, an inlet channel, and an outlet channel. The body has a conical cone portion. The inlet channel has an extension height from a top of shunt cone being higher than an extension height of the inlet channel from the top of the shunt cone. The mold cap is attached to a bottom of the pressing mold and has a lower mold cavity to allow the cone portion to extend into the lower mold cavity and to define a conical shaped connection channel. The connection channel communicates with the pressing channel, and a material input channel is defined in the mold cap and communicating with the connection channel.

Abstract: The thickness profile of a film tube manufactured using a film blowing process is regulated using a control system consisting of segmented control zones and at least at two measuring units for the film thickness such that the specified target film thickness profile exhibits deviations from a uniform film thickness in the form of one or two thin spots opposite each other, which serve to compensate for film thickness changes across the film width which occur during the monoaxial orientation in machine direction so that a film web is produced as a result of orientation whose thickness profile has as few deviations as possible from the target thickness across the entire width of the film web, the final film should exhibit a thickness profile where the thickness increase from the middle of the film to the edges is as minor as possible and the flatness of the film is improved.

Abstract: This application provides a composite film for a cable wrapping layer and a preparation method for the same. The composite film for the cable wrapping layer includes a PE film layer, a PET film layer laminated at the PE film layer, an aluminum foil layer laminated at the PET film layer, and a bonding layer arranged between the PET film layer and the aluminum foil layer. The PE film layer is made of raw materials having the following parts by weight: 40-45 parts of LLDPE with a melt index of 0.9-1.1 g/10 min and a density of 0.920-0.922 g/cm3, 35-40 parts of m-LLDPE with a melt index of 1.9-2.1 g/10 min and a density of 0.917-0.920 g/cm3 and 15-25 parts of ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an external cooling system for a molten film tube produced by a blown film tubular extrusion process, comprised of one or more enclosures with one or more respective cavities that directly receive a portion of cooling gas emanating from one or more associated cooling elements. Each enclosure includes a port containing a variable exhaust device and optional flow buffer, acting to maintain a pressure differential between the cavity and an adjacent inside volume of the molten film tube, adjustable to optimize molten film tube stability cooling element efficiency and spaced apart dimension between cooling elements. Significant increases in production speeds are achieved with improved film quality over an increased range of tubular film sizes, down to a minimum size which occurs when operating at zero internal to molten film tube pressure.
