摘要: An additive manufacturing technique may include depositing, via a filament delivery device, a filament onto a surface of a substrate. The filament includes a binder and a powder including at least one metal or alloy and at least one braze alloy. The technique also includes sacrificing the binder to form a preform. The technique also includes sintering the preform to form a component including the at least one metal or alloy and the at least one braze alloy.

摘要: Provided herein is a process for forming a 3D object on a substrate using liquid inkjet compositions, machinery and methodologies, devoid of dry powders or UV-curable agents. The 3D object is digitally printed according to the additive approach, by inkjet printing a top layer over a base layer before curing the base layer, whereas a layer is formed as a gel, and the gelatinous object is thereafter cured.

摘要: The present invention features a liquid, solvent-free, silica precursor and two-photon 3D printing process to meet the increasing needs of high-precision glass micro-optics and address the major limitations of current three-dimensional (3D) printing optics. 摘要: An apparatus dispenses a raw material in liquid form into a manufacturing zone. The raw material is, by computer-controlled, point-by-point targeted light irradiation, heated and solidified by the region of incidence of a light beam relative to the manufacturing zone being altered in a continuous and/or in a step-by-step manner. The light beam is emitted from the light beam source, or from an optical unit influencing the light of the light beam source, with a substantially ring-shaped light intensity profile. The ring-shaped light intensity profile is formed by a ring-shaped region in which the light intensity initially increases in the direction toward the center of the ring from the outer diameter and then drops off again toward the inner diameter of the ring, with the light intensity being equal to zero in the interior region of the ring.

摘要: An extruder or other similar tool head of a three-dimensional printer is slidably mounted along a feedpath of build material so that the extruder can move into and out of contact with a build surface according to whether build material is being extruded. The extruder may be spring-biased against the forward feedpath so that the extruder remains above the build surface in the absence of applied forces, and then moves downward into a position for extrusion when build material is fed into the extruder. In another aspect, modular tool heads are disclosed that can be automatically coupled to and removed from the three-dimensional printer by a suitable robotics system. A tool crib may be provided to store multiple tool heads while not in use.
