摘要: The present invention provides biodegradable compositions for making biodegradable plastic. The composition comprise about 25% to about 50% by weight starch; about 0.5% to about 10% by weight ground plant waste material; about 20% to about 50% a polymer derived from ethylene, vinyl alcohol and/or an ester of vinyl alcohol; about 10% to about 30% of a plasticizer; and about 3% to about 10% a filler and optionally a processing agent.

摘要: A method for manufacturing a glass plate equipped with a vehicle window-type resin frame includes performing injection molding of the resin frame by using two shaping molds having a cavity configured for the resin frame, disposing the glass plate inside the shaping molds such that the glass plate is retained by a retaining part that is adjacent to the cavity of the shaping molds, and injecting a resin into the cavity, wherein there is at least a partial gap between the glass plate and the retaining part, in a state in which the shaping molds are clamped together.

摘要: Microstructure manufacturing apparatuses and methods are disclosed herein that enable the production of microstructures in an efficient, cost-effective manner that produces precise, high-quality microstructure products. In the manufacturing process for a microneedle array, for example, a template can be contacted against a surface of a continuous layer of a viscous polymer and separated from the surface to form a plurality of projections. The projections can then be solidified and laser cut at a predetermined distance from the surface to form the microstructure.

摘要: A fabrication method for a filter containing tragacanthin-polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) nanofibers includes obtaining a homogenous tragacanthin-PVA solution by obtaining a PVA solution by dissolving PVA in distilled water, and adding tragacanthin to the PVA solution. The method may further include obtaining a support layer by coating a stainless steel mesh with a thin layer of a hydrophobic polymer, coating a stainless steel mesh with the thin layer of the hydrophobic polymer comprising electrospinning a hydrophobic polymer solution onto the stainless steel mesh, and forming a tragacanthin-PVA nanofibrous web on the support layer by electrospinning the homogenous tragacanthin-PVA solution onto the support layer.

摘要: Tools for sealing a tubing in a downhole environment. The tools feature top and bottom slip assemblies and a monolithic sealing element. The monolithic sealing element includes a portion that is disposed between the top and bottom slip assemblies as well as portions that encapsulate the slip assemblies. When the tool is actuated from a run-in configuration to a set configuration, the slips move toward each other squeezing the sealing element so that it forms a fluid-tight seal with the tubing. Teeth of the slip assemblies penetrate the portions of the sealing element disposed thereon and bite into the tubing.

摘要: A process of manufacturing a three-dimensional object includes a step of depositing and solidifying molten polyvinyl alcohol to form a support structure; and a step of depositing and solidifying a molten thermoplastic polymer on the support structure to form a three-dimensional preform. The support structure has a mixture of at least 50% by weight of polyvinyl alcohol and at most 50% by weight of at least one polymer of polyvinyl butyral, polylactid acid, ethylene-vinylalcohol-vinylacetate terpolymer, vinyl acetate-vinyl pyrrolidone copolymer, acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene terpolymer, polycaprolactone, vinyl acetate-vinyl caprolactame copolymer, and polyvinyl alcohol having a degree of hydrolysis DH of 30-65%. The support structure can be dissolved to form the three-dimensional object.

摘要: The present application is related to a container made of a polymer and containing a single unit dose of a detergent composition. The detergent composition contains at least two complexing agents (A) dissolved in an aqueous medium. The complexing agents (A) are (A1) at least one alkali metal salt of methyl glycine diacetic acid (MGDA), and (A2) at least one alkali metal salt of glutamic acid diacetic acid (GLDA). The complexing agents (A1) and (A2) are partially neutralized with alkali and the weight ratio of (A1) and (A2) ranges from 1:9 to 9:1. The aqueous medium contains at least 25% by weight of water relative to the entire liquid phase.

摘要: An apparatus, and a system for manufacturing a bioplastic material from a blend solution of gum arabica (GA) and polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) is provided. The apparatus includes a panel having a first end, a second end distal to the first end, and a plurality of walls extending from a periphery of the panel, the panel configured to accommodate the blend solution. The apparatus further includes a plurality of support members coupled to the first end and the second end of the panel and configured to adjust a slope angle of the panel; and one or more vibration generating units coupled to the plurality of support members and configured to vibrate the panel when the blend solution flows from the first end to the second end of the panel. A method of preparing the bioplastic material is also disclosed.
