摘要: A die for molding a reinforcing bar, which enables the production of a reinforcing bar having sufficient strength in a convenient and inexpensive manner, includes: a main flow channel (F1), formed in a central portion of a main body, that receives a molten thermoplastic polymer material (Rt) output from an extruder (2); at least one first sub flow channel (F2), formed in an outer peripheral portion of the main body, that receives the molten thermoplastic polymer material (Rt) and fluidly connects with an outer peripheral portion in the main flow channel (F1); and at least one second sub flow channel (F3) configured to receive reinforcing fibers (4) and fluidly connected with the main flow channel F1 upstream of a junction position of the main flow channel F1 and the at least one first sub flow channel (F2).

摘要: A system (15) for manufacturing a reinforcing element (1) for reinforced concrete comprises a feeder (16) of a reinforcing fiber bundle (2) along a pultrusion path (4), an impregnating device (17) which impregnates the reinforcing fiber bundle (2) with a liquid thermoplastic polymeric resin (6) to obtain an impregnated fiber bundle (2), a forming channel (8) through which the impregnated fiber bundle (2) is conducted, a solidification device (19) of the composite thread (9) forming a solidified thermoplastic fiber-reinforced bar (11), a pulling device (20) which holds the reinforcing fiber bundle (2) taut along the pultrusion path (4), a winder (21) which winds the solidified bar (11) to form a coil (14), a provisional bending device (22) which bends the composite thread (9) not yet solidified or heats the solidified bar (11) to soften it, bends the heated bar (11) and then cools the bar (11) to solidify it again, so as to confer a continuous provisional curvature to the solidified bar (11) in the direction of the subsequent winding in the coil (14).

The composite structural component also comprises an end fitting forming a mechanical joint with the end portion, the end fitting comprising an internal portion positioned captive within the elongate member in contact with the inner surface of the end portion; an external portion positioned in contact with an outer surface of the end portion; and an adjustable fastener extending axially between the internal and external portions to clamp the end portion between the internal and external portions. The inner surface of the end portion in contact with the internal portion extends towards the axis A at an increasing angle to the axis A.

摘要: The plastic structural article includes an elongated tubular shell having opposed end sections, a middle section there between and an interior cavity. The interior cavity has a foam core situated therein. The foam core comprises steam expandable polymer beads which when expanded substantially fill the interior cavity. The bead and shell are of a similar plastic composition enabling the articles to be reground and recycled. An apparatus for forming the articles and an associated method of manufacture are also disclosed. A thermal management system includes a panel having a periphery, and a skin having a thermal bond to an in-situ foam core. The panel has a thermal transmittance u-value ranging from 0.1 to 0.17 W/m2° C.
