The connecting element is fixed to one end of the stylus barrel. The stylus body is retractably and slidably coupled to the stylus barrel. The stylus body is configured to be optionally supported by the connecting element in an extended state or locked to the opposite end of the stylus barrel in a retracted state with the stylus body received within the receptacle of the stylus barrel.

摘要： A system, method and computer readable medium for capturing data during a print process. In an embodiment of the present invention, the method on a computer system includes observing a print command issued by an application. Next, a spool file in a condensed format, such as Extended Metafile Format (EMF), is written to a disk in response to the print command. This spool file read, and subsequently an output file is generated based on information in the spool file. The output file is written in EMF format if the output file contains image information. If the output file does not contain image information, the output file is written in text format. Then, the output file is modified to conform to a template. Lastly, the output file that was modified is sent to an output destination, such as a printer.

The current location of the GPS user is found through the GPS user device 8, and the data on the current location is transmitted to the party. Further, to make this communicator usable in any country, it is provided with means to connect it to a wireless telephone network of an individual service area of the country.

摘要： It is objected to provide an image processing apparatus achieving decrease of memory volume to be used, simplified print process, and enhancement of productivity. Firstly, a plurality of image data are recorded in memories provided for respective colors. Based on the image data or mode selection by a user, it is determined that whether a multi-color image or a monochrome image is to be outputted. Next, memories 302 of respective colors transmit image data of respective colors to a computing unit 304 in accordance with readout-timing signals from a timing selector 305. In case a multi-color image is to be outputted, the timing selector 305 transmits readout-timing signals of respective colors taking time difference length of which is predetermined for each color. In case a monochrome image is to be outputted, the timing selector 305 transmits readout-timing signals of respective color simultaneously. A computing unit 304 forms monochrome image data in accordance with image data of respective colors, whereby process of monochrome print is simplified.

摘要： A writing device for imprinting Braille characters on an underlined sheet of paper includes an outer barrel and a spring biased receptacle stylus together with a spring biased activating member at an opposite end of the barrel. The stylus includes a rear portion and a forward portion of reduced diameter and a point. A forward member is threadedly attached to the barrel and includes a rearward facing shoulder. A first spring is disposed around the forward portion of the stylus, against a shoulder formed by the reduced diameter of the forward portion and the rearward facing shoulder on the forward member. A second spring is disposed at a opposite end of the barrel between a forward facing shoulder on the activating member and a base portion of the barrel for moving the stylus out of said barrel to form a portion of a Braille character.

摘要： Image data supplied to an image forming apparatus are converted into image data linearly correlated with the image density, and the image ratio is calculated by dividing the number of pixels in which the toner is deposited during image formation based on the thus-converted image, with a value obtained by multiplying the total pixel number corresponding to the size of the print medium with the number of gradation levels per pixel. Then the toner amount consumed in the image formation based on the entered image data is determined by multiplying the image ratio, the size of the print medium to be used and the toner amount consumed per unit area in a solid image formation.

摘要： An image forming apparatus and method in which a controller is capable of executing image processing of its own are disclosed. The controller has an RF unit for processing image information, a halftone image processor, a density corrector and a patch generator. The engine includes a modulator corresponding to the RF unit, a halftone image processor different from that of the controller, a density controller, modulator and patch generator corresponding to the halftone processor of the engine, a sensor for sensing the density of formed patches, and a control unit for controlling the density of an image on the basis of a signal from the sensor. The engine sends the controller a signal relating to density control.
