摘要: An image forming device performs image formation on a medium selected by a computer. When a cutting device is unusable, a long sheet-type medium accommodated in a first medium container is unusable. However, a conveyance passage used for conveying a short sheet-type medium is usable in at least one of a first state where the cutting device is unusable or a second state where the sheet-type medium is unable to pass through the cutting device. A necessary condition to make both the long sheet-type medium and the short sheet-type medium selectable includes the detector detecting neither the first status nor the second status. A necessary condition to make the long sheet-type medium unselectable and make the short sheet-type medium selectable includes the detector detecting one of the first status and the second status.

摘要: A recording device includes a transport unit, a medium supporting member, and a recording head. The transport unit includes transport roller pairs and discharge roller pairs. The discharge roller pair includes a discharge driving roller and discharge driven rollers provided downstream of the medium supporting member in a transport direction. The transport unit includes a first roller and a second roller, which are an example of a guide roller provided downstream of the medium supporting member in the transport direction and on the same upper side as the discharge driven roller with respect to a transport path of a medium. The first roller and the second roller are provided on either side of the discharge roller pair in the transport direction, and a lower end of at least one of the first roller and the second roller is positioned lower than an upper end of the discharge driving roller.

摘要: A media feeding device of separating stacked sheet media and feeding the media separately includes end aligners and rotators. The end aligners are disposed opposite each other in a direction intersecting with a feeding direction of the media and contact or separate from both side ends of the media in the direction intersecting with the feeding direction of the media. The rotators are disposed on the end aligners, each of the rotators to rotate around a rotation shaft with a height direction of the end aligners being an axial direction of the rotation shaft, and rotate, in a state in which the end aligners contact the media, to intermittently press parts of the side ends of the media.

A resolution of an image recorded in the single-liquid recording pass is higher than a resolution of an image recorded in the multiple-liquids recording pass in the relative-movement direction.

摘要: A printing apparatus includes a printing unit; a first conveyance unit configured to convey a sheet to the printing unit while nipping the sheet; a second conveyance unit provided on a downstream side of the first conveyance unit in a conveyance direction of the sheet, and configured to convey the sheet while nipping the sheet; a third conveyance unit provided on a downstream side of the second conveyance unit in the conveyance direction, and configured to convey the sheet while nipping the sheet; and a switching unit configured to switch between a nip state of the second conveyance unit and a released state in which the nip state is released. When the sheet is conveyed by the third conveyance unit, the switching unit switches between the nip state and the released state in accordance with a length of the sheet.
