摘要: An image forming apparatus includes: a unit configured to form an electrostatic latent image using a plurality of scan lines on a photosensitive body by, on a basis of an image signal, performing scanning of the photosensitive body in a main scan direction using one or more scanning beams repeatedly in a sub-scan direction orthogonal to the main scan direction; and a unit configured to store start position information indicating start positions in the main scan direction of the plurality of scan lines. In a case where scan positions in the sub-scan direction of the plurality of scan lines are linearly shifted relative to a target position with a period of N number of scan lines, the start position information indicates to linearly shift the start positions of N scan lines in the main scan direction along the sub-scan direction.

摘要: Apparatus and method for using a line laser (LL) to quickly mark a substrate or media by utilizing a laser additive on/within the substrate/media, which greatly reduces the power requirement for marking the substrate/media. The combination of the LL wide swath (>305 mm) and the improved media/surface sensitivity to laser wavelength allows the LL marking system to achieve faster marking than other systems. The LL is mounted over a transport which transports the sensitized substrate/media past the LL for marking. The desired image is projected from the LL line by line in synch with the moving media and once the media passes the beam path of the LL, marking is complete. In this case, the media has been physically-altered via the heat generated by the LL interacting with the photosensitized media and is permanent. A second method would use a photosensitizing agent coated on top of the media to be marked.

摘要: Pattern transfer printing (PTP) systems and methods are provided to improve the quality, accuracy and throughput of pattern transfer printing. PTP systems comprise a tape handling unit for handling a tape with pattern transfer sheets sections and for controllably delivering the pattern transfer sheets one-by-one for paste filling and consecutively for pattern transfer, with the tape moving from an unwinder roll to a re-winding roll. PTP systems further comprise a paste filling unit which enables continuous paste filling using a supporting counter roll opposite to the paste filling head, a wafer handling unit controllably delivering wafers for the pattern transfer in a parallelized manner that increases throughput, a paste transfer unit with enhanced accuracy and efficiency due to exact monitoring and wafer alignment, as well as a print quality control unit.

摘要: A motor includes a stationary unit and a rotation unit. The rotation unit includes a rotor hub, an annular body, and a clamp. The rotor hub is mounted with a first magnet opposite to the stator. The annular body is supported on an outer circumferential portion of the rotor hub. The clamp is directly or indirectly fixed to the rotor hub farther radially inside than the annular body, and presses the annular body to an axially lower side. The rotor hub includes a flange that expands radially outside from at least a portion excluding an upper end portion. On a surface of the clamp, a pattern to be detected to detect rotation of the rotation unit positioned in a circumferential direction with the central axis as the center is provided. The annular body is sandwiched between the flange and the clamp in an axial direction.

摘要: The optical scanning device includes a swingable reflector; a blocking unit that is provided in the reflector to move in linkage with the reflector; and a sensor unit that includes at least a first sensor unit and a second sensor unit, wherein each of the first and second sensor units includes an output unit, which is a light generator or an electromagnetic wave generator configured to output a detection target and a detection unit, which is a light receiver or an electromagnetic wave receiver configured to detect the detection target. The output unit is at a position that faces the detection unit. When the reflector is in a predetermined swing angle range, the blocking plate blocks a path of the detection target between the output unit and the detection unit.
