Abstract: A brake disc assembly includes a hub and a brake disc detachably attached to the hub. The brake disc has an opening through which an axle is to penetrate. The hub has first protrusions at the outer periphery of the hub and first recesses at the outer periphery of the hub. The brake disc has second protrusions in the opening and second recesses in the opening. When the brake disc is at a first rotation position, the first protrusions and the second protrusions are attached to each other with overlapping with each other. When the brake disc is at a second rotation position, the first protrusions are within the second recesses and the second protrusions are within the first recesses as viewed in the direction of a center A, and the brake disc does not overlap with the hub in the direction of the center A.

Abstract: A wheel and brake disc apparatus of a vehicle includes a roadway wheel and a brake disc mounted rotatably to the vehicle, the roadway wheel and the brake disc arranged about an axis of rotation. The roadway wheel extends radially in relation to the axis of rotation to a wheel rim configured to hold a tire adapted to operate on a roadway surface. The brake disc is inboard of the roadway wheel and extends radially in relation to the axis of rotation to a brake disc rim. A brake caliper assembly mounted at a fixed location over the brake disc rim is configured to squeeze brake pads against the brake disc. The brake disc rim includes a tread configured to operate on a rail without interference from the brake caliper assembly.

Abstract: A wheel end assembly for a vehicle, comprising a central wheel support member such as a spindle or a steering knuckle, and an outboard wheel end bearing arranged concentrically around the central wheel support member. The outboard wheel end bearing comprises roller elements accommodated between an inner race-forming part and an outer race-forming part surrounding the inner race-forming part. The inner race-forming part is configured to be supported by the central wheel support member. The central wheel support member comprises a first rotational lock portion. The inner race-forming part comprises a second rotational lock portion configured to engage with the first rotational lock portion to prevent the inner race-forming part from rotating relative to the central wheel support member. The invention also relates to a vehicle comprising such a wheel end assembly.

Abstract: A wheel unit for a pedelec includes a hub and a rim connected via spokes which rotate about a rotational axis, a brake disc non-rotatably connected to the hub via a fastening device, and a sensor ring. The fastening device includes a mounting element non-rotatably arranged on the hub, and a clamping nut fastenable to the hub or to the mounting element via a screw connection. The brake disc is interlockingly connected to the mounting element in a direction of rotation. The brake disc is clampingly attached via the clamping nut in the direction of the rotational axis between the hub or the mounting element and the clamping nut. The sensor ring is connected rotationally fixed to the hub and is fixed to the clamping nut. The sensor ring is fastenable together with the clamping nut to the hub or to the mounting element via the screw connection.
