    Abstract: The invention relates to a chassis comprising a base (12) and four wheels (14) each being mounted on the base by way of a respective supporting device (16) and each being capable of being brought out of a transport position into an operating position of the chassis (10), and vice versa, wherein each supporting device comprises a support or carrier arm (18), which is arranged on the base via a proximal end (20) to be pivotable out of the transport position into the operating position of the chassis, and vice versa, and at a distal end (22) receives an axle journal (24) for rotation, a first control (30) for pivoting the support or carrier arm out of the transport position into the operating position of the chassis, and vice versa, the axle journal rotatably arranged at the distal end of the support or carrier arm, a stub axle (40), which is pivotably arranged on the axle journal and receives the wheel for rotation at a distal end (42) of the axle journal; and a second control (44) for pivoting the stub axle against the axle journal.

    Abstract: Provided herein is a driving apparatus for transporting a loaded object, which allows a drive-wheel to always be in contact with the ground even when the ground is uneven. The driving apparatus includes a loading plate (140, 240) on which a loaded object is loaded, a first support (110, 210) connected to a lower portion of one side of the loading plate (140, 240), a second support (120, 220) connected to a lower portion of the other side of the loading plate (140, 240), a hinge (130, 230) configured to connect the first support (110, 210) to the second support (120, 220) in a hinge structure, at least a pair of drive-wheels (160, 260) coupled to both sides of a lower portion of the second support (120, 220), and a driver configured to rotate and drive the drive-wheels (160, 260).

    Abstract: There is described a wheel axle for an agricultural vehicle such as a combine harvester. The wheel axle has at least one wheel suspension (32a) arranged to maintain a wheel axle parallel to the supporting surface, through use of a linkage arrangement (36, 38, 40) which is pivotally coupled to the axle frame (30). The configuration of the wheel suspension allows for the wheel axis to passively follow the surface profile, as any loads transmitted through the wheel carrier act to level out the wheel suspension to align with the underlying surface. As the wheel axle is adjusted to lie parallel with the underlying surface, accordingly the ground-contacting surface area of the associated wheels is maximised.

    Abstract: An axle assembly may have a first axle member, including a recess with a female threaded portion, and a second axle member with an insertion portion and a protrusion portion. The insertion portion may be received in the recess and it may have a male threaded portion engaged with the female threaded portion of the first axle member. The protrusion portion protrudes out of the recess. An overall length of the axle assembly is adjustable by moving the threads of the male threaded portion of the second axle member along the threads of the female threaded portion of the first axle member, or vice versa. An axle and hub arrangement with the axle assembly is also disclosed.

    Abstract: A track-width adjustment system, apparatus and method limit track-width adjustments in a self-propelled product applicator, according to a first speed-based protocol for track-width adjustments initiated by an operator of the applicator, and according to a second speed-based protocol for track-width adjustments initiated by an automatic track-width control arrangement of the applicator. An automatic track-width control arrangement continually monitors and adjusts track-width, as required to maintain a desired track-width at substantially any ground speed while the applicator is in motion. Operator initiated adjustments to track-width are allowed only within a prescribed range of ground speeds.

    Abstract: A toy vehicle includes a chassis, at least two wheels, and an actuating mechanism configured to couple the at least two wheels to the chassis and to move the at least two wheels between a retracted position and an extended position in which a width of each wheel of the at least two wheels is increased. The actuating mechanism includes a lever configured to be moved between a first position corresponding to the retracted position of the at least two wheels and a second position corresponding to the extended position of the at least two wheels. The actuating mechanism further may include an actuator configured to move the lever from the first position to the second position and from the second position to the first position.
