Abstract: A tire air filling device according to one embodiment includes a cylinder having a first opening communicating with a tire; and a weight that is provided inside the cylinder, that has an air flow hole through which air to be supplied to the tire passes, and that moves in an axial direction of the cylinder upon a receipt of a centrifugal force, to supply the air from the first opening to the tire. The tire air filling device includes a weight spring interposed between the weight and an inner surface of the cylinder; and an inclined member attached to a check valve that prevents a backflow of the air from the tire to an inside of the cylinder, and to the cylinder in a state where the cylinder is inclined with respect to the check valve.

Abstract: A chamber is provided that works as a peristaltic pump for the pressure correction in the tire, which is a part of the tire or of an ancillary structure placed between the rim and the tire bead and is connected with the tire internal space at one end and with the external environment at the other end. The chamber is in the shape of a curved hollow channel, where at least one enclosing wall is at least partially formed by at least a pair of surfaces coplanar with the longitudinal direction of the chamber. When the tire is mounted on the rim, the pair of surfaces are pressed together thus hermetically closing the chamber. When the chamber is closed during rotation of the wheel, the surfaces can slightly slide on one another taking internal wall tensions onto themselves thus decreasing the possibility of wall damage through ripping.

Abstract: An air pressure adjusting device includes a supplying device and a reception circuit configured to receive a detection signal that includes information indicating an air pressure of a tire. The supplying device includes a piston that supplies air to the tire by being moved by rotation of the tire. The air pressure adjusting device includes a switching unit and a controller. The switching unit is configured to be switched between a first state, in which the switching unit allows movement of the piston, and a second state, in which the switching unit prohibits movement of the piston. The controller is configured to control the switching unit. The controller is configured to obtain the information indicating the air pressure of the tire from the detection signal received by the reception circuit, switch the switching unit to the second state when the air pressure of the tire is greater than or equal to a threshold, and switch the switching unit to the first state when the air pressure of the tire is less than the threshold.

Abstract: A wheel-mounted air compression apparatus for maintaining a predetermined inflation pressure of a tire mounted on a wheel of a vehicle and the tire having an inflation port includes a housing defining an air compression chamber and has an air compressor device positioned therein. The apparatus includes a plurality of support legs spaced apart from one another. Each support leg is attached to the housing and extends away therefrom and may include a pair of sleeves that are length-adjustable for mounting to wheels of various sizes. A pressure sensor is situated in the housing and operably connected to the air compressor and to a nozzle for determining a current pressure of air within the tire. A controller or other electronics cause the air compressor to pump air into a tire if the air pressure therein is detected as declining below a predetermined amount.
