    Abstract: A device for adjusting a foot point of a vehicle spring element includes a first wall element for connecting to a vehicle, a second wall element spaced from the first wall element and connecting to the spring element, and a chamber disposed between the first wall element and the second wall element for changing the distance between the first wall element and the second wall element by changing a volume of the chamber, the chamber having an incompressible fluid and the first and/or second wall element including a passage opening for the incompressible fluid to the chamber. In embodiments, the passage opening is fluidly connectable to a supply/discharge device for the incompressible fluid, and the chamber has a chamber wall with a third wall element extending from the first wall element to the second wall element, the mass of which is constant when the volume of the chamber is changed.

    Abstract: An embodiment suspension system for a vehicle includes a rocker arm housing coupled to a first end of a lower arm through which a rotation axis passes, a rocker arm having a first end surrounded by the rocker arm housing and a second end disposed toward a center of the rocker arm housing, the rocker arm being rotatable together with the lower arm about the rotation axis, a torsion bar having a first end connected to the second end of the rocker arm and a second end extending along the rotation axis and then coupled to a vehicle body connection member, and a contact protrusion disposed on either the rocker arm housing or the rocker arm, the contact protrusion being configured to come into contact with the other of the rocker arm and the rocker arm housing in accordance with a rotation angle of the rocker arm housing.

    Abstract: An adjustable shock adapter for converting a non-adjustable shock into a shock with full spring and ride height adjustment is provided. The adjustable shock adapter may include a tubular component adapted for engagement with a shaft of the non-adjustable shock. The tubular component may include a rim extending radially outward from an outer surface of the tubular component, located towards the bottom of the tubular component, and positioned against a fixed component of the shock absorber to prevent the tubular component from sliding past the component. The adjustable shock adapter may also include a collar mounted to the outer surface of the tube-shaped component and moveable upwards or downwards along the tubular component and locked into place. The collar may include a second rim positioned against a spring of the non-adjustable shock, acting as a stopper to limit how low the height of the UTV can be adjusted.

    Abstract: A vehicle comprising a first leaf spring connected to a chassis so as to, while deflecting, allow relative vertical movement between the chassis and a wheel axle and thereby also between the chassis and wheels, and a control circuitry configured to: compare the signal indicative of the actual path followed by the wind-up center with a representation of a reference path that the wind-up center of the first leaf spring should follow when the first leaf spring is well-functioning and deflects as intended; determine whether a difference between the actual path and the reference path is greater than a threshold value; and, in response to the determined difference greater than the threshold, generate an alarm signal indicative of a detected or possibly detected leaf spring failure.

    Abstract: A mechanical leg comprises a frame, a retractable member, a wheel, an extension and retraction driving member, a travel driving member, an auxiliary leg, and an auxiliary wheel. The extension and retraction driving member is located on a side of the frame. The retractable member is connected to the extension and retraction driving member. The wheel is connected to the retractable member. The wheel is further connected to the travel driving member. A first end of the auxiliary leg is connected to the auxiliary wheel, and a second end of the auxiliary leg is located on the frame. The retractable member extends under the driving of the extension and retraction driving member to drive the wheel to jump. The wheel is driven by the travel driving member to move. When the auxiliary wheel contacts the ground, the mechanical leg moves with the rolling of the wheel and the auxiliary wheel.
