    摘要: A tank assembly for a motor vehicle includes an axially extending compressed gas tank having a middle portion and axially terminal end portions, and a tank support configured to fasten the compressed gas tank to a vehicle body. The tank assembly has a guard device that catches the compressed gas tank in the event the tank and/or support become partially or fully detached from the vehicle. A guard support is configured to secure the guard device to the vehicle body. A retaining element forms an axial stop for a first end portion, and at least one pliable tension element, which extends axially and connects the retaining element to the guard support in a tension-transmitting manner.

    摘要: A fuel cell vehicle includes fuel tanks, a first support mechanism, and a restricting member. The fuel tanks are disposed in a vehicle width direction to have longitudinal directions along a vehicle longitudinal direction. The fuel tanks include first and second fuel tanks. The first fuel tank is provided on an outer side in the vehicle width direction. The second fuel tank is adjacent to the first fuel tank. The second fuel tank has an axial center positioned higher than an axial center of the first fuel tank. In a case where a collision load acts from outside in the vehicle width direction, the first support mechanism supports the first fuel tank while allowing the first fuel tank to move toward a lower side of the second fuel tank. The restricting member is provided above the second fuel tank and restricts an upward movement range of the second fuel tank.

    摘要: A device for fastening a tank to a vehicle is provided. The tank is substantially in the form of a cylinder with an axis arranged substantially horizontally. The device comprises at least two substantially identical, substantially flat frames, substantially perpendicular to the axis, comprising an opening presenting a shape substantially identical to a section perpendicular to the axis of the tank so as to be able to enclose, at least partially, the tank. The device further includes a fastening interface to the vehicle and an impact energy dissipation feature that dissipates impact energy transmitted to the tank according to a substantially horizontal direction substantially perpendicular to the axis. The impact energy dissipation features is arranged between the opening and the fastening interface.

    摘要: A cab for a semi-truck vehicle may include a main body with a wrap around windshield providing a predetermined field of front vision and side vision. The cab may further include a seat, a rear wall, and a cabin interior accommodating a driver. The cabin interior may be located between the wrap around windshield and the rear wall and include a frontside volume and a rearside volume. A doorway formed in the main body may provide ingress to and egress from the cabin interior. A plurality of front entry steps may be disposed beneath the doorway. A door may be configured to selectively open and close the doorway, allowing direct access to the frontside volume of the cabin interior. The cab design may optimize visibility, accessibility, and interior space utilization for the driver.
