摘要: A control assembly for use with a vehicle having a pivot arm for controlling output of the vehicle includes a bracket, a yoke attached to the pivot arm, and a shaft engaged to the yoke and extending into the bracket. The pivot arm is rotatable about a first axis of rotation between a neutral position and a plurality of forward positions and a plurality of reverse positions. When in the neutral position, the pivot arm may also rotate about a second axis of rotation between an operative position and a stopped position, and a switch may be engaged when the pivot arm is rotated to the stopped position. A return to neutral assembly may provide a return force to the pivot arm when it is rotated about the first axis of rotation away from the neutral position.

摘要: Vehicles may be composed of a relatively few number of “modules” that are assembled together during a final assembly process. An example vehicle may include a body module, a first drive module coupled to a first end of the body module, and a second drive module coupled to a second end of the body module. One or both of the drive modules may include a pair of wheels, a battery, an electric drive motor, and/or a heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system. One or both of the drive modules may also include a crash structure to absorb impacts. If a component of a drive module fails or is damaged, the drive module can be quickly and easily replaced with a new drive module, minimizing vehicle down time.

摘要: A drive arrangement for a vehicle, the drive arrangement comprising a rotatable interface arranged to be mounted to the vehicle, wherein the rotatable interface is rotatably coupled to a mounting arm to allow continuous rotation of the mounting arm in a clockwise and anti clockwise direction that is substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal and transverse axis of the vehicle; and a first electric motor having a stator and a rotor, wherein the stator is coupled to the mounting arm to allow the axis of the rotor to be substantially perpendicular to the rotational axis of the rotatable interface, wherein the rotor is arranged to be coupled to a wheel of the vehicle to allow the electric motor to provide drive torque to the wheel.

摘要: An omnidirectional moving device is provided with a vehicle chassis, a vehicle body, a universal coupling, and an attitude stabilizing system. In the vehicle chassis, a plurality of wheels that are capable of moving omnidirectionally are provided. The vehicle body is mounted on the vehicle chassis. The universal coupling connects the vehicle chassis to the vehicle body, and the attitude of the vehicle body relative to the vehicle chassis can be changed via this universal coupling. The attitude stabilizing system causes the vehicle chassis to move in a direction that corresponds to a change in the attitude of the vehicle body, and maintains the attitude stability of the vehicle body.

摘要: A rod-end front suspension is provided for an off-road vehicle. The rod-end front suspension comprises a spindle assembly that is pivotally coupled with an upper suspension arm by way of a first rod-end joint and pivotally coupled with a lower suspension arm by way of a second rod-end joint. A steering rod-end joint coupled with the spindle assembly pivotally receives a steering rod. An axle assembly coupled with the spindle assembly conducts torque from a transaxle to a wheel coupled with the spindle assembly. Each of the first and second rod-end joints comprises a ball rotatably retained within a casing. The ball is fastened within a recess between parallel prongs extending from the spindle assembly. A threaded shank extending from the casing is threadably fixated with the suspension arm, such that the spindle assembly may be moved with respect to the casing and the suspension arm.

摘要: The present disclosure envisages an arrangement for mounting a powertrain of a four-wheeled vehicle of a body-on-frame type, wherein the powertrain is mounted on a chassis in an orientation transverse to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle. The mounting arrangement comprises a right-side powertrain mounting assembly 310 for supporting the powertrain 100 on the right-hand side, a left-side powertrain mounting assembly 320 for supporting the powertrain 100 on the left-hand side of the vehicle, and a powertrain roll-restricting and mounting assembly 330 for supporting the powertrain 100 on the rear side of the powertrain 100. The right-side powertrain mounting assembly 310 and the left-side powertrain mounting assembly 320 comprise a right isolating element 316 and a left isolating element 326 respectively, and the powertrain roll-restricting and mounting assembly 330 comprises a roll restricting and isolating element 334.

The plate can include a ridge configured to cause the plate to buckle in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle under predetermined conditions.
