The control device is configured to perform torque-down corresponding to a deficiency by delaying the ignition timing of the internal combustion engine when an actual torque of the electric rotary machine through the regeneration control is deficient for the torque-down request.

Abstract: Aspects of the present invention relate to a control module (15) for a vehicle powertrain. The powertrain comprises a transmission (14), an engine (12) and an electric machine (16). The control module (15) is configured to receive an input indicative of a requested upshift and in response to the received signal the control module (15) increases the torque output of the engine (12) prior to the start of the torque phase (20). As the torque output of the engine (12) increases the control module (15) decreases the torque output of the electric machine (16) such that a constant wheel torque is applied to the wheels (18) during the torque phase (20) of the upshift.

Abstract: A hybrid power transmission mechanism includes an engine; a motor/generator having a rotor and a stator; a driven machine; a planetary gear mechanism having a sun gear, an internal gear drivingly connected to the rotor, a planetary gear, and a planetary carrier shaft including first and second extension shaft parts extending from the planetary gear in opposite directions; a first clutch switchable between a state of allowing transmission of power between the first shaft and the internal gear and a state of not allowing transmission of power therebetween; and a second clutch switchable between a state of allowing rotation of the sun gear and a state of not allowing rotation thereof. A first shaft that outputs power of the engine and a second shaft that inputs power to the driven machine are drivingly connected to the first and second extension shaft parts of the planetary carrier shaft, respectively.

An epicyclic train reducer includes a first element intended to be coupled to the shaft, a second element coupled to the electric starter, and a third element intended to be rotated by the electric machine. The controller is configured to rotate the third of the three elements so as to obtain two bearings of reduction ratios of the speeds between the first of said three elements and the second of the three elements. The controller is configured to drive the torque of the third of the three elements in accordance with a determined output torque.
