    Abstract: A control device for a vehicle including an internal combustion engine and an electric rotary machine connected to the internal combustion engine in a power-transmittable manner is able to perform torque-down through ignition delay control for delaying an ignition timing of the internal combustion engine and regeneration control for performing regeneration using the electric rotary machine when there is a torque-down request based on a vehicle state. The control device is configured to perform torque-down corresponding to a deficiency by delaying the ignition timing of the internal combustion engine when an actual torque of the electric rotary machine through the regeneration control is deficient for the torque-down request.

    Abstract: Aspects of the present invention relate to a control system 12, method 400 and computer program 31 for controlling torque provided by a belt integrated starter generator 14 of a vehicle 10, the control system 12 comprising one or more electronic controllers 18, the one or more electronic controllers configured to: determine a change in torque to be provided by the belt integrated starter generator 14 according to a torque request 54; determine that the change in torque will cause the belt integrated starter generator 14 to enter a torque reversal region 51; and generate and output to the belt integrated starter generator 14 an altered torque request 56 within the torque reversal region 51, wherein the altered torque request 56 is generated and output to the belt integrated starter generator 14 when the torque request 54 would result in a reduction in the amount of torque provided by the belt integrated starter generator and when the torque request would result in an increase in the amount of torque provided by the belt integrated starter generator.

    Abstract: A hybrid power transmission mechanism includes an engine; a motor/generator having a rotor and a stator; a driven machine; a planetary gear mechanism having a sun gear, an internal gear drivingly connected to the rotor, a planetary gear, and a planetary carrier shaft including first and second extension shaft parts extending from the planetary gear in opposite directions; a first clutch switchable between a state of allowing transmission of power between the first shaft and the internal gear and a state of not allowing transmission of power therebetween; and a second clutch switchable between a state of allowing rotation of the sun gear and a state of not allowing rotation thereof. A first shaft that outputs power of the engine and a second shaft that inputs power to the driven machine are drivingly connected to the first and second extension shaft parts of the planetary carrier shaft, respectively.

    Abstract: In an industrial hybrid engine, an endless rotary band wound around a drive pulley of a crankshaft and a motor pulley of an electric motor for power is provided. The electric motor is attached to an engine body by using a support bracket. A tension mechanism is supported by the support bracket, the tension mechanism tensioning the endless rotary band in a direction in which the endless rotary band is stretched. A second support bracket that supports the electric motor separately from the support bracket is provided.

    Abstract: A gearbox arrangement of an electric machine of an engine includes a planetary gear arrangement configured to receive rotational input from the electric machine and from the engine and to mechanically couple the electric machine and the engine in first and second power flow directions, the planetary gear set comprising a ring gear, a ring brake, a free-wheel clutch attachable to a fixed structure and the ring brake, the tree-wheel clutch permitting rotation of the ring brake in a first direction and preventing rotation of the ring brake in an opposite second direction, and an arrangement for moving the ring gear between a first position in which the ring gear is non-rotatably engaged with the ring brake and a second position in which the ring gear is non-rotatably engaged with the carrier.
