摘要: A method is provided for optimizing the operating lifetime of an energy storage system including a battery pack with a plurality of battery cells. The method includes: measuring the temperature of the battery pack by means of a sensor unit; and measuring at least one further parameter representing an indication of the operating lifetime of the battery pack. Furthermore, the method includes the steps of: detecting whether the parameter reaches a predetermined threshold value indicating that the battery pack is in a condition close to an end of its expected operating lifetime; and, in the event that the threshold value is reached, initiating heating of the battery pack, thereby increasing the temperature of the battery pack to a predetermined value so as to prolong the operating lifetime of the battery pack. A system for optimizing the operating lifetime of an energy storage system is also provided.

The torque converter may be configured to couple the electric machine to an output shaft. The controller may be programed to generate a command for the electric machine to output torque to drive the torque converter toward a desired rotational speed, and to modify the command according to a difference between the desired rotational speed and an actual rotational speed to reduce the difference, wherein values of the difference are limited by thresholds that change with powertrain operation.

The apparatus includes an environment information collection unit configured to collect traveling environment information of the hybrid vehicle, a determination unit configured to compare the traveling environment information with reference information and determine whether the traveling environment information meets a preset condition, a setting unit configured to set a reference coolant temperature based on the traveling environment information and change the reference coolant temperature based on the traveling environment information when the traveling environment information meets the preset condition, and an engine control unit configured to prevent the engine from operating heating and air-conditioning control of the hybrid vehicle when the traveling environment information meets the preset condition and a coolant temperature is lower than the reference coolant temperature changed by the setting unit.

摘要: A vehicle includes an engine, a motor generator, a battery, and an ECU, and is configured to selectively perform EV running and engine running. When requested power is smaller than reference power, ECU calculates an engine fuel consumption ratio h1 when the engine outputs power resulting from addition of optimal charging power for the battery to the requested power, and determines whether the engine fuel consumption ratio h1 is larger than an EV criterion line resulting from addition of a margin K to a battery equivalent fuel consumption ratio F. When the engine fuel consumption ratio h1 is larger than the EV criterion line, ECU selects EV running, and otherwise selects engine running. The ECU calculates the margin K by referring to an F−K map which defines correspondence between the battery equivalent fuel consumption ratio F and the margin K with which an SOC is converged to a target range.

The invention in this respect in particular also relates to such a transformer. In accordance with the invention, the manually actuable grounding device is coupled to a cover latch of the cover such that the cover can be unlatched by actuating the named grounding device.

摘要: An ECU includes a running mode control unit, a Wout control unit, and an engine start/stop determination unit. The running mode control unit controls switching of a running mode including a CD mode in which an engine is stopped and running using a motor generator alone is given priority, and a CS mode in which the engine is operated and the SOC of a power storage device is maintained at a predetermined target. The engine start/stop determination unit carries out a start determination of the engine based on a discharge allowable power indicating electric power that can be discharged by the power storage device. The Wout control unit modifies the discharge allowable power based on the running mode and operation/stop of the engine.
