    Abstract: A device for longitudinally adjusting a seat may have two mutually spaced rail pairs and at least one locking element. The rail pairs are each formed by an upper rail and a lower rail which are movable in relation to one another. The at least one locking element is movably mounted on the upper rail in a spring-loaded manner and, in a locking position, blocks a movement of the upper rail in the lower rail and, in an unlocking position, releases the movement. An undesired movement of the locking element out of the locking position is at least limited or blocked by a blocking element. A seat may have the device longitudinally adjusting a seat.

    Abstract: A free hinge drive system for a link of a vehicle seat such as a relaxation seat includes a first pinion gear of a motor and a second pinion gear of a brake device that are connected by an interconnection member, and a first sector gear gear-coupled to a first pinion gear and a second sector gear gear-coupled to a second pinion gear have symmetric shapes. In operation, a free hinge of the link is rotated by release of a braking force of the brake device during a relaxation operation, and the free hinge of the link is restrained by a braking force when the relaxation operation is not performed, thereby preventing lift of a second front height link corresponding to another side output (outer side) in the event of a rear collision, improving passenger safety, and minimizing forward and rearward movements of the vehicle seat.

    Abstract: A vehicle seat bracket, with at least one lower rail which is fixed to the vehicle, and with at least one upper rail arrangement which is coupled to a vehicle seat and interacts with the at least one lower rail for the relative longitudinal displaceability in the longitudinal direction of the lower rail, is characterized in that the at least one upper rail arrangement has a first upper rail module, which is coupled to the vehicle seat, and a second upper rail module, which is connected by a connecting element to the first upper rail module. The two upper rail modules are movable along the lower rail. The first upper rail module is provided with an electromechanical drive arrangement for the longitudinal displaceability relative to the lower rail. The second upper rail module has a releasable mechanical locking device which is designed to couple the upper rail arrangement and the lower rail to one another in a locked state and to decouple them from one another in a decoupled state.
