摘要: An electrochromic mirror reflective element sub-assembly for a vehicular rearview mirror assembly includes a front substrate having first and second surfaces with a transparent electrically conductive coating at the second surface, and a rear substrate having third and fourth surfaces, with an electrically conductive coating disposed at the third surface. A perimeter sealing element is disposed between the second and third surfaces and bounding an interpane cavity between the front and rear substrates. The perimeter sealing element includes an adhesive strip adhered to respective perimeter regions of the second and third surfaces. The perimeter sealing element includes a first electrically conductive trace for electrically connecting to the transparent electrically conductive coating and a second electrically conductive trace for electrically connecting to the electrically conductive coating. An electrochromic medium is disposed within the interpane cavity and contacts the transparent electrically conductive coating and the electrically conductive coating.

摘要: A central rearview mirror includes a profile-shaped mirror housing. The front of the mirror housing is provided with a first sliding chute, and a lens is slidably embedded in the first sliding chute. An end cover is removably installed at each of the two side ends of the mirror housing. The advantages of the central rearview mirror are as follows: The profile is adopted as the main body of the mirror housing, that is, the mirror housing is a solid straight bar with a certain cross-section shape so that each cross-section of the mirror housing is unified. When it is required to design central rearview mirrors of different lengths, it is only necessary to cut a large-length profile to obtain the mirror housing in the required length without tedious computer numerical control (CNC) processing or new mould-opening, thus reducing the production cost of the central rearview mirror.

摘要: A vehicular driver monitoring system includes a camera disposed at a mirror head of an interior rearview mirror of a vehicle and viewing at least the head of a driver of the vehicle. The camera moves together and in tandem with the mirror head when the mirror head is adjusted by the driver of the vehicle to adjust a rearward view of the driver. Responsive to the driver of the vehicle adjusting the orientation of the mirror head, and responsive to processing at the ECU of image data captured by the camera, the vehicular driver monitoring system maintains the camera's view of at least the head of the driver as it was before the driver adjusted the orientation of the mirror head. The vehicular driver monitoring system, at least in part via processing at the ECU of image data captured by the camera, monitors the driver of the vehicle.

摘要: A vehicular frameless interior rearview mirror assembly includes a mirror head and a mounting portion. The mirror head includes a mirror reflective element and a mirror casing. The mirror reflective element includes a glass substrate having a planar front side and a planar rear side. No portion of the mirror casing overlaps the planar front side of the glass substrate of the mirror reflective element. A camera is disposed within the mirror casing behind the mirror reflective element. With the mounting portion of the mirror assembly mounted at an in-cabin side of a windshield of a vehicle, the camera views a driver of the vehicle, and when the mirror head is moved by the driver to adjust a rearward view of the driver, the camera moves in tandem with movement of the mirror head. The camera is part of a driver monitoring system of the vehicle.

摘要: A vehicular video mirror system includes a display device having a video display screen accommodated by a mirror head of an interior rearview mirror assembly. The vehicular video mirror system is operable in a mirror mode or a display mode. A vehicle-mounted rearward-viewing digital camera is disposed at the vehicle and a trailer-mounted rearward-viewing analog camera is disposed at a trailer that is configured to be hitched to the vehicle. With no trailer hitched to the vehicle, and when the vehicular video mirror system operates in the display mode, the video display screen displays video images derived from image data captured by the vehicle-mounted rearward-viewing camera. With the trailer hitched to the vehicle, and when the vehicular video mirror system operates in the display mode, the video display screen displays rearward-view video images derived from image data captured by the trailer-mounted rearward-viewing camera.

摘要: A rearview mirror includes a display device, at least one switch, a photosensitive sensor, a rear housing and a button. The at least one switch, the photosensitive sensor and the rear housing are disposed on a non-display side of the display device. The photosensitive sensor is configured to sense a light intensity of ambient light located on the non-display side of the display device. An avoidance opening is disposed in the rear housing, and exposes the photosensitive sensor and the at least one switch. The button is disposed on a side of the photosensitive sensor and the at least one switch away from the display device, and is connected to the rear housing at the avoidance opening. The button has a light-transmitting region. The button is configured to receive a pressing operation to trigger a respective switch in the at least one switch.

摘要: A vehicular interior rearview mirror assembly includes a mirror head adjustably attached at a mounting base. The mirror head includes a prismatic mirror reflective element having a wedge-shaped, reflector-coated glass substrate having a front side and a rear side separated by a thickness of the glass substrate, with the thickness of the glass substrate varying between a lower edge region of the glass substrate and an upper edge region of the glass substrate. A driver monitoring camera is accommodated by the mirror head and views through the prismatic mirror reflective element. A refraction-compensating element is disposed between a lens of the driver monitoring camera and the rear side of the glass substrate of the prismatic mirror reflective element. The refraction-compensating element is a wedge-shaped element that offsets refraction of light that passes through the wedge-shaped, reflector coated glass substrate of the prismatic mirror reflective element.
