摘要: A system for improving safety of an occupant by a vehicle seat belt, which can provide adaptive protection for an occupant in different seat positions and different sitting postures is provided. A method for improving safety of an occupant by a vehicle seat belt is also provided, along with a a computer-readable medium. The a system for improving safety of an occupant by a vehicle seat belt includes an in-vehicle observation system, an active seat belt system, and an integrated safety domain control unit. The integrated safety domain control unit formulates a vehicle seat belt protection strategy based on received data from the in-vehicle observation system, and a slack state of an active retractor and a positional state of an active lift buckle in the active seat belt system, to implement selective tightening or loosening of the active retractor and/or selective lifting or lowering of the active lift buckle.

摘要: A winding device includes a base, a driving member and two operation gears. The winding device further includes two shafts extending through each of the arms, each of the operation gears, and each of the ears. The base is provided with two arms. The driving member is provided with two ears. Each of the operation gears has a plurality of toothed portions and a plurality of push grooves. Each of the toothed portions has a release face. Each of the arms is provided with a first slideway in which a first push member is slidably mounted. Each of the ears is provided with a second slideway in which a second push member is slidably mounted. Thus, the driving member is driven reciprocally to wind the safety belt gradually, such that the tension of the safety belt is adjusted.

摘要: A motorized seat belt system includes: a spindle around which webbing is wound; an output gear connected to the spindle through a power transmission shaft; a torsion portion provided on the power transmission shaft or the output gear; a motor which transmits rotational power to the spindle; first and second reduction gears which are connected to an output shaft of the motor and transmit rotational power of the motor to the output gear; a first rotation amount detecting sensor that measures a rotation angle and a rotation direction of the power transmission shaft; a second rotation amount detecting sensor that measures a rotation angle and a rotation direction with respect to a rim portion of the first reduction gear; and a controller which controls output of the motor based on detection signals from the first rotation amount detecting sensor and the second rotation amount detecting sensor.

摘要: A vehicle mirror and camera mounting system includes a camera mounting bracket that includes an injection molded bracket formed by injection molding a polymeric molding resin. A camera, when its camera module is attached at the camera mounting bracket at the vehicle windshield, has a field of view through the vehicle windshield. The camera mounting bracket includes a mirror attachment portion configured for attaching an interior rearview mirror assembly thereat. At least one cover element is attached at (i) the camera mounting bracket, (ii) the camera module and/or (iii) the mirror mount so that the camera module and the camera mounting bracket are not readily viewable to a person viewing the construction from inside the vehicle. The mirror mount includes an electrical connector for electrical connection to (i) a connector at the camera module or (ii) a wire harness of the vehicle, with the connection hidden from view.

摘要: An apparatus and method for improving the safety-relevant wear-comfort of a seatbelt worn by an occupant of a vehicle seat uses at least one sensor to detect the contour and/or position of the seatbelt, at least one actuator system for moving the seatbelt in order to change the contour and/or position, and at least one control module for controlling the actuator system. The control module is operative to control the actuator system automatically as a function of a deviation of the seatbelt contour/position, as detected by the sensor, from a predefined contour/position which reflects correct wear of the seatbelt.

摘要: A vehicle safety belt bypass warning system involves, a video camera, at least one processor, face detection software, a safety belt, and a safety belt engagement sensor circuit. The processor detects that a human face is present and associated with an individual seat. An infrared (IR) emitter output is positioned on the safety belt and transmits individually coded light pulses unique to the occupied seat. At least one IR receiver receives individually coded light pulses from occupied seat IR emitters and, in response, will output coded electrical signals indicative of which occupied seat(s) the individually coded light pulses were received from. The at least one processor will wait for receipt of the coded electrical signals from the IR receiver. If the processor does not receive an indication for a particular occupied seat, the processor will trigger a safety belt bypass warning indicator.

摘要: A webbing take-up device includes a spool and a spiral spring that biases the spool in a take-up direction and a motor provided with an output shaft. The webbing take-up device further includes a first clutch that transmits forward direction rotation of the output shaft to the spool, rotating the spool in the take-up direction. The webbing take-up device further includes a second clutch including: weights that are rotated by the output shaft and that open out under their own centrifugal force; a connection-disconnection mechanism that receives force from the weights opening out and connects so as to enable rotation of the output shaft to be transmitted to the spool; and projection portions serving as load limiting portions that limit the load imparted to the connection-disconnection mechanism so as not to become a specific value or greater.
