Abstract: Embodiments provide probation officers with a recidivism probability score that is to be considered in conjunction with, or as a component of, compliance-based removal decisions. The recidivism score is computed based on a weighted combination of evidence-based factors that have been shown, through machine learning and other statistical analytics, to have a strong correlation with long-term recidivism rates. Examples of such evidence-based factors include the offender's Projected Date of IID Removal, Date of IID Install, Date of last Calibration, Violation Hour, Low BAC Non-Violation, BAC Violations, IID Violations, IID Service Lockout, IID Early Morning Violations, Violation Lockouts, and Circumvention Attempts Skipped Tests.

Abstract: Methods and systems for autonomous and semi-autonomous vehicle control, routing, and automatic feature adjustment are disclosed. Sensors associated with autonomous operation features may be utilized to search an area for missing persons, stolen vehicles, or similar persons or items of interest. Sensor data associated with the features may be automatically collected and analyzed to passively search for missing persons or vehicles without vehicle operator involvement. Search criteria may be determined by a remote server and communicated to a plurality of vehicles within a search area. In response to which, sensor data may be collected and analyzed by the vehicles. When sensor data generated by a vehicle matches the search criteria, the vehicle may communicate the information to the remote server.

Abstract: Systems and methods for implementing protections against catalytic converter theft. A vehicle may comprise Ultra-Wideband (UWB) anchors or sensors. The UWB sensors of a vehicle may be used to detect the relative distance and/or location of UWB-capable devices in close proximity to the vehicle. An assessment may be performed using the UWB anchors and/or other sensors to determine whether the presence of the unknown device is indicative of a threat to the vehicle. If a threat is detected, one or more protection steps may be taken.

Abstract: Systems and methods for detecting tampering with a catalytic converter by using a catalytic converter sensor located outside of the exhaust system that is configured to sense vibrations from vehicle exhaust components and output that to a catalytic converter module. The catalytic converter module activates an alarm system if at least one vibration exceeds a vibration threshold for an amount of time that exceeds a duration threshold. The alarm system may include any combination of activating the integrated vehicle alarm module, an external catalytic converter alarm module, or transmitting a wireless alert to a server or user devices.

For instance, a technician may be assigned to the vehicle that requires assistance. A signal corresponding to user input at a remote computing device requesting a change to a state of the vehicle may be received. The signal may be based on details of the assigned technician. Based on the validation, an instruction may be sent to the vehicle to change the state of the vehicle.

Abstract: Methods and systems for autonomous and semi-autonomous vehicle routing are disclosed. Roadway suitability for autonomous operation is scored to facilitate use in route determination. Maps of roadways suitable for various levels of autonomous operation may be generated. Such map data may be used by autonomous vehicles or other computer devices in determining routes based upon criteria for vehicle trips. Such routes may be automatically updated based upon changes in road conditions, vehicle conditions, operator conditions, or environmental conditions. Emergency routing using such map data is described, such as automatic routing and travel when a passenger is experiencing a medical emergency.

Abstract: A method for operating a motor vehicle having at least one vehicle communication arrangement fixed to the body. Signals are emitted by a user device, which can be handled independently of the motor vehicle and can be assigned or is assigned to a driver of the motor vehicle, and are received by the vehicle communication arrangement. A distance between the user device and the motor vehicle is monitored on the basis of the received signals. Provision is made for the distance to be monitored during operation of the motor vehicle and for a safety operating state of the motor vehicle to be activated when a distance exceeding a predefined threshold value is detected.

Abstract: A wheel fastener alarm assembly is provided having a fastener body with a first portion defining a wrenching surface and a cavity, and a second portion with a threaded portion to attach and detach from a wheel of a vehicle. A sensor array is disposed in the cavity of fastener body to detect an attribute of the fastener body and generate an output signal based on the attribute of the fastener body. An antenna connected to the sensor array to transmit the signal to a remote location. A cap is secured to the first portion of the fastener body and covers the wrenching surface and the cavity opening to define a capped fastener body.

Abstract: Various embodiments provide for a bike-supported communication network that manages and facilitates communications between components of an electric bicycle and a wireless network. In some embodiments, the systems and methods determine that a mobile device associated with the electric bicycle is in contact with a mount disposed on the electric bicycle, and cause a lock assembly to unlock the electric bicycle in response to the determination that the mobile device is in contact with the mount.
