Abstract: Methods, apparatus, systems, and articles of manufacture to extend brake life cycle are disclosed herein. An example vehicle includes a first brake associated with a first wheel of the vehicle, a second brake associated with a second wheel of the vehicle, memory, and a brake controller to execute instructions to detect a first parking event, determine, via a first sensor, a condition of the vehicle, access, from the memory, a record of a second parking event including an activation of the first brake, the second parking event preceding the first parking event, and in response to determining the condition satisfies a threshold, engage the second brake without engaging the first brake.

Abstract: An amphibious vehicle that can be operated in a variety of conditions and terrain, including on land and in water, includes a high visibility cab portion, a chassis, and prime mover. The amphibious vehicle has two rows of forward-facing seats situated inside the cab portion, allowing both the operator and passengers to look outside via the high visibility cab portion. A CVT and steering-wheel interface for steering is utilized to provide the operator with an intuitive driving experience.

Abstract: A work vehicle is provided with a body and ground engaging means configured to allow motion of the body on ground, and braking means for locking ground engaging means, and an operative element carried by said body and configured to execute a specific working operation. The work vehicle further includes a first and a second joystick configured to respectively control the operation of ground engaging means and operative element based on movement of joystick and first and second input means configured respectively to control the activation/deactivation of parking brake functionality of the work vehicle and the activation/deactivation of hydraulic systems of work vehicle. Furthermore, the work vehicle includes a control system configured to receive second and first control signals derived from first and second input means respectively and each configured to assume a respective activation value and a respective deactivation value and inhibit the operation of the joystick linked to the operation of ground engaging means if both control signals are in activation state.

Abstract: A parking brake system of a tipper vehicle having a tiltable tipper body is described. The system comprises a parking brake having a brake chamber which is pressurizable for releasing the parking brake. A valve device is in fluid communication with the brake chamber, the valve device comprising an exhaust port. The valve device has an activated state in which the brake chamber is in fluid communication with the exhaust port whereby air from the brake chamber is discharged, thereby applying the parking brake, and an inactivated state in which said fluid communication is disconnected. Upon receipt of a tipping signal, a neutral gear signal and a low speed signal, and upon detecting that the parking brake is still in the released state, the valve device is changed from the inactivated state to the activated state in order to exhaust air from the brake chamber, causing the parking brake to become changed to the applied state.

Abstract: This application belongs to the field of a garden tool and specifically relates to a garden tool including: a body; at least two traveling wheels located on two sides of the body; and a driving unit. The driving unit is installed inside the traveling wheel. In the present application, the driving unit is installed inside the rim. Therefore, the overall axial dimension of the traveling unit is reduced, the lateral width of the garden tool such as a mower is reduced. Under the same width conditions, more lateral space is available for the garden tool, allowing for the installation of structures such as battery compartments and standing platforms. This design lowers the center of gravity of the garden tool like a mower, thereby enhancing their stability.

Abstract: An electro-pneumatic parking brake arrangement includes a shut-off valve and a parking brake module. The parking brake module includes a reservoir connection configured to connect to a compressed air reservoir, a first spring-loaded accumulator connection configured to connect to the shut-off valve, an electro-pneumatic valve unit having at least one electro-pneumatic valve configured to output a spring-loaded brake pressure at the first spring-loaded accumulator connection, and an electronic control unit configured to receive parking brake signals from an electronic parking brake switch and/or a higher-order control unit. The shut-off valve comprises a second spring accumulator connection configured to connect the spring-loaded brakes of the further axle and to shut off the second spring accumulator connection depending on a shut-off signal provided by the parking brake module.

Abstract: A parking brake system is disclosed and includes one or more pressure transducers that monitor the fluid pressure of the parking brake system and a brake selection device configured to indicate the parking brake system is either in an engaged state or a disengaged state. The parking brake system includes one or more processors and a memory coupled to the one or more processors. The memory stores data comprising a database and program code that, when executed by the one or more processors, causes the parking brake system to determine the fluid pressure of the parking brake system is less than a threshold pressure. In response to determining the fluid pressure of the parking brake system is less than the threshold pressure, the parking brake system instructs the brake selection device to indicate the parking brake system is in the disengaged state.
