摘要: A vehicle system for braking a vehicle includes a first sensor system for recording a first image of a vehicle's environment, an evaluation unit for evaluating the first image, a second sensor system for recording a second image of the vehicle's environment, and a second evaluation unit. The first evaluation unit identifies a critical braking situation in the first image and the second evaluation unit identifies a critical braking situation in the second image. The vehicle system initiates braking with a first braking force when a critical braking situation is identified in the first image, initiates braking with a second braking force when a critical braking situation is identified in the second image, and initiates braking with a third braking force when a critical braking situation is identified in both the first and second images, wherein the third braking force is stronger than the first and second braking forces.

摘要: A vehicular control system includes a camera, a radar sensor and a processor operable to process image data captured by the camera and radar data captured by the radar sensor. The system determines that it is not safe to proceed with an intended turn at an intersection responsive to determination that the intended turn at the intersection will not be completed before an estimated time to arrival of an approaching vehicle at the intersection elapses and/or determination that a pedestrian is present at the intersection where the equipped vehicle will turn. The system determines that it is safe to proceed with the intended turn at the intersection responsive at least in part to determination that the intended turn at the intersection will be completed before the estimated time to arrival elapses and determination that no pedestrian is present at the intersection where the equipped vehicle will turn.

The contact detector is configured to detect a contact of a vehicle with an object. The attitude stabilization processor is configured to execute an attitude stabilization control that generates a yaw moment at a vehicle body on the basis of a deviation between a target yaw rate and an actual yaw rate. The steering intention determining unit is configured to determine a presence of a driver's intention to perform steering. The attitude stabilization processor is configured to stop the generation of the yaw moment by the attitude stabilization control or reduce the yaw moment to be generated by the attitude stabilization control, in a case where the steering intention determining unit determines that the driver's intention to perform the steering is absent after the detection of the contact by the contact detector.

摘要: A vehicle has a plurality of control apparatuses, a user input, a geographic position component, an object detection apparatus, memory, and a display. A processor is also included and is programmed to receive the destination information, identify a route, and determine the current geographic location of the vehicle. The processor is also programmed to identify an object and object type based on object information received from the object detection apparatus and to determine at least one warning characteristic of the identified object based on at least one of: the object type, a detected proximity of the detected object to the vehicle, the location of the detected object relative to predetermined peripheral areas of the vehicle, the current geographic location of the vehicle, and the route. The processor is also configured to select and display on the display an object warning image based on the at least one warning characteristic.

摘要: An adaptive brake control system for use in Ground Support Equipment (GSE) including a speed control system. The adaptive brake control system includes a distance sensor adapted to measure a distance from an edge of the GSE to an external object and a speed senor adapted to measure a ground speed of the GSE. An actuator, such as a brake actuator, is adapted to cause the speed control system of the GSE to slow or stop the GSE. A controller is functionally associated with the distance sensor, the speed sensor, and the actuator. The controller is adapted to receive inputs from the distance sensor and the speed sensor, and, based on the received inputs, to trigger the actuator to affect slowing or stopping of the GSE.
