    摘要: A heavy-duty vehicle includes a chassis, a wheel supporting the chassis, a drive system, a service brake, a drive system controller, and a service brake controller. The drive system includes a motor associated with the wheel. The motor is configured to propel the wheel and to apply a dynamic brake torque to the wheel. The service brake is associated with the wheel and configured to apply a service brake torque to the wheel. The drive system controller controls operation of the motor. The drive system controller selectively modulates the dynamic brake torque to the wheel based on traction conditions. The service brake controller controls operation of the service brake. The service brake controller may selectively modulate the service brake torque to the wheel based on the traction conditions. Modulation of the dynamic brake torque may be disabled during modulation of the service brake torque.

    摘要: A method of controlling an electro-hydraulic brake system comprising a main brake unit and redundancy brake unit, the method comprising: determining a failure type of the main brake unit, the failure type being one of a plurality of failure types comprising: a sensor failure type comprising a failure occurred at a first sensor connected to the main brake unit; an independent wheel control failure type comprising a failure at the main brake unit to perform an independent wheel control; a hydraulic pressure generation failure type comprising a failure at the main brake unit to form a hydraulic pressure; and an inoperable failure type comprising the main brake being not controllable; and in response to determining that the failure type of the main brake unit is the sensor failure type or the independent wheel control failure type, causing the main brake unit to generate a braking force, in response to determining that the failure type of the main brake unit is the hydraulic pressure generation failure type or the inoperable type, causing the redundancy brake unit to generate a braking force.

    摘要: The disclosure provides an anti-lock brake device including an oil pressure tank, a valve, and a movable component. The oil pressure tank has an accommodation space, an oil inlet channel, and an oil outlet channel connected to the accommodation space. The valve is slidably located in the oil inlet channel and for sealing or opening an oil inlet of the oil inlet channel. The movable component is located in the accommodation space and has a connecting channel corresponding to the oil inlet and an oil outlet of the oil outlet channel. When the movable component is slid to a depressurized position, the movable component is moved away from the valve for sealing the oil inlet, a first volume is produced between the connecting channel and the oil inlet, and a second volume, smaller than the first volume, is removed from between the connecting channel and the oil outlet.

    摘要: According to at least one embodiment, the present disclosure provides an electrohydraulic brake system including main brake assemblies, electronic parking brakes (EPBs), a main control unit, and a redundancy control unit (RCU). The main brake assemblies generate a braking force in one or more front wheels and one or more rear wheels of a vehicle. The electronic parking brakes (EPBs) generate a braking force to one of the front wheels and rear wheels. The main control unit is configured to control the operation of the main brake assembly. The redundancy control unit (RCU) is configured to control the operation of the electronic parking brake. Here, the redundancy control unit performs, upon determining that a malfunction occurs in a braking function of the main control unit, a slip control on the vehicle by using the electronic parking brake based on signals from one or more wheel speed sensors.

    摘要: A brake-by-wire system for a motor vehicle provides haptic feedback to the driver via the brake pedal in the event of an anti-lock braking. The brake system includes a brake pedal configured to receive a braking request from a driver driving the motor vehicle and to forward the request to a braking apparatus. The braking apparatus is configured to translate the braking request into a corresponding brake pressure and to transmit it to brake actuators. The brake pedal is further mechanically and/or hydraulically decoupled from the braking apparatus. The brake system has at least one mechanical actuator in the form of a unbalance motor and/or a magnetic plunger. The at least one mechanical actuator is connected to the brake pedal and is configured to induce the brake pedal to vibrate in the event of an anti-lock braking.
