摘要: Embodiments described herein include hardware and software components for hosting a multi-vehicle tool that configures and tracks test scenarios of an ego vehicle. Sensors mounted to the ego other traffic vehicles generate sensor data, including geolocation data, which the vehicles transmit to a system hosting the multi-vehicle tool. The multi-vehicle tool uses the sensor inputs to generate a user interface allowing an administrator to monitor the vehicles during testing. The multi-vehicle tool detects when the sensor data satisfies a configurable bail threshold and transmits a notification to an administrator to abort the test or transmits instructions to the ego vehicle to abort the test.

摘要: The technology relates to determining general weather conditions affecting the roadway around a vehicle, and how such conditions may impact driving and route planning for the vehicle when operating in an autonomous mode. For instance, the on-board sensor system may detect whether the road is generally icy as opposed to a small ice patch on a specific portion of the road surface. The system may also evaluate specific driving actions taken by the vehicle and/or other nearby vehicles. Based on such information, the vehicle's control system is able to use the resultant information to select an appropriate braking level or braking strategy. As a result, the system can detect and respond to different levels of adverse weather conditions. The on-board computer system may share road condition information with nearby vehicles and with remote assistance, so that it may be employed with broader fleet planning operations.

摘要: A computer-implemented method for road layout prediction is provided. The method includes segmenting, by a first processor-based element, an RGB image to output pixel-level semantic segmentation results for the RGB image in a perspective view for both visible and occluded pixels in the perspective view based on contextual clues. The method further includes learning, by a second processor-based element, a mapping from the pixel-level semantic segmentation results for the RGB image in the perspective view to a top view of the RGB image using a road plane assumption. The method also includes generating, by a third processor-based element, an occlusion-aware parametric road layout prediction for road layout related attributes in the top view.

摘要: A vehicle 1 as a host vehicle includes: detection unit that detects a translationally-moving two-wheeled vehicle 9 traveling in front of or alongside the host vehicle; an on-board communication device capable of communicating with a communication device mounted on the vehicle 9; an ECU that determines whether the host vehicle is at either one of blind spots BR and BL of the vehicle 9, based on a detection result of the detection unit, and that transmits a warning notification from the on-board communication device to the communication device mounted on the vehicle 9 when determining that the host vehicle is at the blind spot BR or BL. In this case, it is preferable that the ECU changes an actuation condition so that an automatic operation according to contact avoidance control is started more promptly than when the host vehicle is determined to be outside the blind spots BR, BL.

摘要: Traveling environment information is recognized. A predicted traveling path is calculated based on a driving condition of a vehicle. An oncoming-vehicle predicted traveling path is calculated based on behavior of an oncoming vehicle. It is determined whether the vehicle has an intention to enter a first intersecting road at an intersection. When the vehicle cannot enter the first intersecting road, the predicted traveling path is corrected to a limit traveling path. It is determined whether the oncoming vehicle has an intention to enter a second intersecting road at the intersection. When the oncoming vehicle cannot enter the second intersecting road, the oncoming-vehicle predicted traveling path is corrected to an oncoming-vehicle limit traveling path. The oncoming vehicle is set as a control target against which emergency braking is executed when the predicted traveling path and the oncoming-vehicle predicted traveling path overlap each other at least in part.

摘要: A vehicular control system includes a plurality of sensors disposed at a vehicle and an electronic control unit (ECU). The vehicular control system, responsive to processing at the ECU of sensor data captured by one of the plurality of sensors, detects an object in the path of the vehicle. The object may be one selected from the group consisting of (i) a pothole, (ii) road debris, and (iii) a speed bump. The ECU, responsive to detecting the object in the path of the vehicle, provides an output to another ECU. The other ECU, responsive to receiving the output, controls two or more of (i) braking of the vehicle, (ii) steering of the vehicle, and (iii) suspension of the vehicle.

The stationary state control unit maintains the stationary state by first maintenance control when the parking space entry operation has been completed and maintains the stationary state by second maintenance control, which is different from the first maintenance control when the parking space exit operation has been completed.

摘要: A vehicle includes wheels, brakes, and a controller. The wheels are configured to propel the vehicle. The brakes are configured to generate a braking torque at the wheels. The controller is programed to, in response to (i) a commanded braking torque and (ii) a relative jounce between two of the wheels exceeding a threshold, operate the brakes to increase the braking torque to less than the commanded braking torque. The controller is further programed to, in response to (i) the commanded braking torque and (ii) a droop of at least one of the wheels exceeding a threshold, operate the brakes to increase the braking torque to less than the commanded braking torque.
