摘要: A universal controller for a powertrain is provided. The universal controller comprises a configurable powertrain model which is configurable to model a class of generic powertrains comprising J generic power sources, K generic power sinks, and L generic couplings. The universal controller is arranged to receive an input file comprising a plurality of input parameters to configure the configurable powertrain model of the universal controller to control a specific powertrain having a powertrain architecture comprising N power sources, M power sinks, and X couplings. The configurable powertrain model is configured to model the specific powertrain based using N power source models, M power sink models, X coupling models, and a model architecture which may be defined from a generic powertrain component library and a connection parameter module.

The electrified air system further includes an EGR pump operable to recirculate a portion of exhaust gas output from the engine and an electric turbocharger including a turbine, a compressor driven by the turbine via a shaft coupled therebetween, and an electrical machine coupled to the shaft. The electrical machine is configured to operate in a motoring mode to drive the shaft and cause the compressor to output boosted intake air to the engine and operate in a generating mode to transform rotational power from the shaft into electrical power that is provided back into the electrical power system.

The control method having driving the engine at a first rotation speed when a charging amount of the battery decreases to a first charging threshold; changing the engine to driving at a second rotation speed larger than the first rotation speed when the engine is driven at the first rotation speed and the charging amount decreases to a second charging threshold smaller than the first charging threshold; and continuing driving of the engine until the charging amount becomes equal to or more than a charging end threshold larger than the first charging threshold.

摘要: A vehicle includes a high-voltage system circuit including a high-voltage battery and an inverter, a low-voltage system circuit including a low-voltage battery and an updater, a DC-DC converter coupled between the two circuits, and a controller. The inverter converts DC electric power supplied from the high-voltage battery into AC electric power and outputs the AC electric power to a motor. The low-voltage battery has a lower output voltage than the high-voltage battery. The updater updates a program of an update-target device by using electric power supplied from the low-voltage or high-voltage battery. The DC-DC converter reduces in voltage output electric power of the high-voltage battery and then supplies the electric power to the low-voltage system circuit. When the updater starts updating of the program by using the electric power reduced in voltage, the controller limits operation of the inverter in response to the start of the updating of the program.

摘要: A fire fighting vehicle includes a powertrain including an engine, a battery pack, and an electromechanical transmission; a power divider; and a controller. The power divider is positioned between the engine, the pump, and the electromechanical transmission. The controller is configured to monitor a state-of-charge of the battery pack and operate the engine, the power divider, and the electromechanical transmission such that the state-of-charge is maintained above a minimum state-of-charge threshold that is sufficient to facilitate (i) accelerating the fire fighting vehicle to a driving speed of at least 50 miles-per-hour in an acceleration time and (ii) maintaining or exceeding the driving speed for a period of time. An aggregate of the acceleration time and the period of time is at least three minutes.

摘要: The disclosure provides an engine control method, system, and vehicle, and the vehicle comprises a battery and an engine, wherein the method includes: obtaining a current maximum discharge power value of the battery, and a current maximum external characteristic power value of the vehicle; obtaining a current opening value and a current opening change rate of an accelerator pedal of the vehicle; determining a driving intention based on the current opening value and the current opening change rate; and controlling start and stop of the engine according to the driving intention, the current maximum discharge power value, and the current maximum external characteristic power value of the vehicle. Since the driving intention is determined by the current opening value and the current opening change rate in advance, and based on the determined driving intention, in combination with the current maximum discharge power value of the battery and the current maximum external characteristic power value of the vehicle, the power response is carried out in advance so as to ensure that a larger power request can be satisfied at the next moment, thus avoiding the case where the engine is unnecessarily started or is not started in time.
