摘要: A system includes a first robotic machine having a first set of capabilities for interacting with a target object; a second robotic machine having a second set of capabilities for interacting with the target object; and a task manager that can determine capability requirements to perform a task on the target object. The task has an associated series of sub-tasks. The task manager can assign a first sequence of sub-tasks for performance by the first robotic machine based on the first set of capabilities and a second sequence of sub-tasks for performance by the second robotic machine based on the second set of capabilities. The first and second robotic machines can coordinate performance of the first sequence of sub-tasks by the first robotic machine with performance of the second sequence of sub-tasks by the second robotic machine to accomplish the task.

摘要: A robotic system includes a controller configured to obtain image data from one or more optical sensors and to determine one or more of a location and/or pose of a vehicle component based on the image data. The controller also is configured to determine a model of an external environment of the robotic system based on the image data and to determine tasks to be performed by components of the robotic system to perform maintenance on the vehicle component. The controller also is configured to assign the tasks to the components of the robotic system and to communicate control signals to the components of the robotic system to autonomously control the robotic system to perform the maintenance on the vehicle component.

摘要: The moving body separating device includes a separating device main body, which separates an upstream-side moving body disposed on a base plate to be movable in a straight-line direction and a downstream-side moving body connected to the upstream-side moving body on the base plate at a prescribed separating point when moving to a downstream side. The separating device main body includes a rotary body for pushing out the downstream-side moving body towards the downstream side through a rotary action, a supporting shaft held by the upstream-side moving body for supporting the rotary body to be freely rotatable, and an original-position returning spring held by the supporting shaft for returning the rotary body to an original position. A protrusion member which applies a rotary pressure force to the rotary body is fixed at a prescribed separating point on the base plate by corresponding to one end part of the rotary body.

摘要: A model railroad coupler for use with model railroad rolling stock includes a coupler head and a coupler knuckle carried pivotally on the coupler head; an elongate coupler shank having one end thereof fixed to the coupler head; a coupler mounting structure carried at the other end of the coupler shank, the shank having a shank longitudinal axis; wherein the coupler head includes a coupler head side flange thereon for preventing over rotation of the coupler knuckle, the coupler head side flange having a flat, inner-facing surface which is parallel to the shank axis; and wherein the coupler mounting structure includes a coupler centering surface adjacent an end thereof, wherein the coupler centering surface has a first, co-linear portion and a second, angled portion wherein a first fulcrum point is located between the first, co-linear portion and the second, angled portion and a second fulcrum point located at an outer margin of the coupler centering surface.

摘要: A coupler for use with model trains. The coupler includes a body member; a knuckle pivotally mounted on the body member, where the knuckle is in either an open state or a closed state; a locking pin disposed on the body member, where the locking pin is operable for maintaining the knuckle in the closed state when the locking pin is in a first position, and for allowing the knuckle to transition to the open state when the locking pin is in a second position; and an actuator wire coupled to the body member and the locking pin. In operation, the actuator wire contracts in length when an electrical signal is supplied thereto such that the locking pin is transitioned to the second position when said electrical signal is supplied to the actuator wire.

摘要: A model railroad remote uncoupler mechanism is intended for use with a signal-receiving mechanism and a self-centering coupler. A coupler is mounted on a unit of model railroad rolling stock, and is shiftable between a coupled condition, wherein the coupler engages a coupler on another unit of rolling stock, in an uncoupled condition. The remote uncoupler mechanism includes an electromotive actuator, which is activated by the signal-receiving mechanism, and a connector, which extends between the electromotive actuator and the coupler for shifting the coupler between its coupler position and its uncoupled condition. A power supply is provided for the remote uncoupler mechanism, which power supply may be carried on-board the rolling stock, or may include a pick-up mechanism for collecting power from the energized rails of the model railroad layout.

摘要: An elongate arm is pivotally connected at one end to supporting means adapted to be mounted adjacent a railroad track. Drive means are provided for pivoting the arm away from the supporting means so as to engage and actuate an uncoupling lever attached to a standard railroad car coupling, thereby opening the coupling. The apparatus can be automated, and can be employed in combination with a train positioner. Appropriate sensing means, such as limit switches and valves, can be used to indicate when the coupling is open and to control the pressure exerted by the pivoting arm on the uncoupling lever. Jogging means can be utilized to jog the cars in order to loosen tight couplings.
