摘要: An example vehicle includes a passenger compartment; a nose region forwards of the passenger compartment, the nose region having a top surface; and an airflow deflector positioned on the top surface of the nose region, the airflow deflector comprising a first panel projecting from the top surface of the nose region; and a second panel coupled to the first panel, the second panel being spaced from the first panel to form a channel between the first and second panels, the channel having an inlet facing towards the top surface of the nose region so that a rearwardly moving airflow incident on the first panel is directed towards the channel inlet and an outlet facing away from the top surface of the nose region so that air flowing through the outlet is directed in an upwards direction, the upwards airflow causing disruption to a rearward airflow moving towards the passenger compartment.

摘要: A pop-up hood apparatus includes a hood, a hood lock mechanism, a support mechanism, an actuator, and a pair of auxiliary support parts. The support mechanism has a movable block and a base block. Each auxiliary support part includes: a load reception block that is capable of supporting the side edge part of the hood from below; a biasing member that biases the load reception block upward; and a displacement regulation member that regulates an upward displacement from an initial position of the load reception block against a biasing force of the biasing member. The movable block and the displacement regulation member are interlocked by an interlock part that displaces the displacement regulation member in a regulation release direction in response to an upward displacement of the movable block by the actuator.

摘要: A hood lifting mechanism for a vehicle having a frunk, including: at least one lifting means configured to lift a hood, and a deformable material configured to be attached to an inner surface of the hood, wherein the deformable material is configured to switch from a first position (P1) in which the deformable material is either flat or forms a dome being directed towards the inner surface of the hood into a second position (P2) in which the deformable material forms a dome being directed towards the frunk when the at least one lifting means is activated. Further, the present disclosure relates to a vehicle including such lifting mechanism and to a method for moving a hood of a vehicle.

摘要: A hood-integrated vehicle body in which a hood, a bumper, and a fender are integrally formed into a single component so as to reduce the weight thereof is disclosed. The hood-integrated vehicle body includes a front vehicle body part, which is constructed such that a hood is integrally and rotatably connected to a front portion of the front vehicle body part and is openable at a rear side thereof, a lifting unit mounted to the front part of the vehicle so as to rotate the hood, and a locking unit, which is mounted to the front part of the vehicle so as to selectively engage the hood with the front part of the vehicle such that the engagement of the hood is released so as to allow the hood to be opened by means of the lifting unit upon manipulation for opening the hood.

摘要: A vehicle hood lift mechanism is disclosed, including a central member extending between a vehicle and a hood. The central member is pivotally engaged with the hood via a first hinge. A central portion is pivotally engaged via a second hinge to the central member. The central portion includes a lower and upper member each joined at the second hinge. The lower member includes a distal end pivotally engaged to a lower member via a third hinge and the upper member includes a distal end pivotally engage to a second arm via a fourth hinge. The first arm extends between the distal end of the lower member to the hood and the second arm extends between the distal end of the upper member and the engine compartment. The vehicle hood lift mechanism allows the hood to be maintained in a horizontal plane when in a raised and lowered position.

摘要: An energy absorber for interposition between a cover and a covered object includes a generally planar matrix of cells. Each of the cells includes a plurality of generally elongate micro-elements interconnected to form a cell micro-structure, with each cell having a respective energy absorption capacity such that an energy absorption capacity of the energy absorber varies across at least one direction. The cells are configured such that impulse of an object with the cover with the energy absorber sandwiched between the cover and the covered object causes a deceleration vs. time response in the object, beginning with a generally linear rise in the deceleration to a peak deceleration within 5 ms after the beginning of the impulse event, followed by a generally nonlinear decrease in the deceleration over a period of not greater than 15 ms to a final target deceleration of not greater than 10% of the peak deceleration.

摘要: Technology is provided which allows the amount of a hood protruding forward from a striker to be reduced at a normal time before the pop-up hood system is operated, and allowing the stroke when the front end of the hood rotates downward when the pop-up hood system is operated to be reduced, such that it is possible to effectively utilize the space. A hood retraction structure includes: a slider provided at a front side lower portion of a hood; and a rail that is provided on an upper portion of a striker body constituting a hood locking mechanism, movable in a longitudinal direction relative to the slider, and is longer than the slider in a length in the longitudinal direction. Retraction of the slider relative to the rail allows the hood to retract relative to the hood locking mechanism.
