The electric powered paraglider also includes a propulsion unit mechanically coupled to the frame. The electric powered paraglider also includes a throttle controller unit physically or wirelessly connected to the flight control unit. The throttle controller unit includes at least three switches. The at least three switches are configured to operate one or more parameters of the paraglider. The electric powered paraglider also includes a power latching unit mechanically coupled to the frame. The power latching unit includes a plurality of batteries. The power latching unit is configured to allow a user to swap the plurality of batteries by implementing a power latching mechanism.

    摘要: A decelerator for decelerating an attached payload includes a first canopy, a second canopy, and an internal structure for redirecting air entering the decelerator out of the decelerator and in a contraflow direction, which is cognate to the direction of travel. The first canopy defines an interior volume and includes a first opening for receiving a flow of air into the interior volume and a second opening for permitting received air to travel out of the interior volume. The second canopy is then positioned over the second opening, and the internal structure extends at least partially through the interior volume and interconnects the first canopy and the second canopy. Air within the internal structure is directed out of the decelerator in the contraflow direction. The internal structure can be constructed of a plurality of venturi tubes to increase the velocity at which air is emitted from the decelerator.

The invention also relates to an airfoil for the implementation of said method, comprising an airfoil attitude sensor with an inertial unit with a biaxial accelerometer and a biaxial rate gyro, and means for communicating with an autopilot.     摘要: A combination powered parachute and motorcycle modifies an initially conventional motorcycle with the addition of various flight components to provide sustained flight for the machine. A peripheral and overhead safety structure is installed upon the motorcycle, with a second flight engine, propeller, folding propeller guard, and fuel system also installed. The flight engine and all of its systems are completely independent of the conventional motorcycle engine used for surface propulsion. A set of laterally disposed stabilizer wheels is also provided for transition from ground to flight and from flight to ground operation. Lift is provided by a folding parafoil device of either the ram air inflated or partially pneumatically inflated type. For flight operations, the lateral wheels are lowered and extended, the folding propeller guard is extended, and the parafoil is deployed behind the motorcycle, with the parafoil lifting conventionally upon attaining flight speed.
