The present invention provides various configurations of castable devices that can be operated and/or controlled for such systems or tasks. One or more castable devices can be integrated with a transducer assembly, such as a phased array, that emits sonar beams and receives sonar returns from the underwater environment. Processing circuitry may receive the sonar returns, process the sonar returns, generate an image, and transmit the image to a display.

摘要: Systems, methods, and apparatus for performing an action when an aggregated confidence measure. Data is received from a first sensor proximate to a particular air space. Data is also received from a second sensor and a third sensor proximate to the particular air space. The data from the first sensor, second sensor, and third sensor are each analyzed to determine respective confidence measures that a UAV is within the particular air space. The first sensor corresponds to a first type of data, the second sensor corresponds to a second type of data, and the third sensor corresponds to a third type of data. The confidence measures from each sensor are aggregated together to generate a combined confidence measure indicating a possible presence of the UAV within in the particular air space. When the combined confidence measure exceeds a threshold, an action is taken.

摘要: A drone deployable power line fault detection sensor. The sensor can include a clamp mechanism having a clamp ring with first and second ring portions movably connected to each other and a resilient member positioned to urge the first and second ring portions toward a closed configuration. A latch can be positioned to retain the first and second ring portions in an open configuration whereby the sensor can be positioned on a power transmission line with a drone. A trigger can be coupled to the latch and operative, under the weight of the sensor, to disengage the latch thereby releasing the first and second ring portions to close around the transmission line under the force of the resilient member. One or more sensors are carried by the clamp mechanism and positioned to detect a line fault on the power transmission line, which is reported to a power station control system to de-energize the power transmission line.

摘要: Systems, methods, and apparatus for identifying, tracking, and disrupting UAVs are described herein. Sensor data can be received from one or more portable countermeasure devices or sensors. The sensor data can relate to an object detected proximate to a particular airspace. The system can analyze the sensor data relating to the object to determine a location of the object and determine that the object is flying within the particular airspace based at least in part on location data. A portable countermeasure device can be identified that corresponds to the location of the object. The system can transmit information about the object to the identified portable countermeasure device. The portable countermeasure device can transmit additional data relating to the object to the system.

摘要: A method for autonomous in-flight transfer of a load from a first Aerial Vehicle, AV, to a second AV is provided. Each of the first AV and the second AV includes a frame with a vertical opening for receiving the load. A plurality of rotors are attached to the frame. The method comprising autonomously performing the following in-flight: fastening means of the first AV hold the load in the vertical opening of the first AV such that a bottom end of the load is accessible by the second AV; the second AV approaches the first AV from below in order to couple a fastening means of the second AV to the bottom end of the load; the fastening means of the first AV releases the load after the fastening means of the second AV couples to the bottom end of the load; and the fastening means of the second AV lower the load with respect to the frame of the second AV in order to move the load into a flight position.

The pylon comprises a body spanning along a vertical axis between an upper face and a lower face, the upper face comprising one or more mounting arrangements configured to facilitate mounting the pylon to the bottom surface of the aircraft, the lower face comprising at least one suspension mechanism configured to facilitate selective attachment of the payload to the pylon. The pylon further comprises a covering arrangement configured for selective shifting between a closed position in which it covers the suspension mechanism and an open position in which the suspension mechanism is uncovered. The width of the body varies smoothly along the vertical axis between, inclusively, the upper and lower faces.
