摘要: Methods and apparatus for unitizing groups of individual packages into pallet loads, stabilizing the loads and facilitating general movement of the pallets, including the loading and unloading of pallets into and out of transport vehicles, includes wrapping the loads with stretchable crepe paper, rather than conventional plastic wrap material. Crepe paper can be produced and recycled with less environmental impact than plastic wrap. These methods involve a new use for crepe paper, and a new use for conventional plastic-wrapping equipment.

摘要: A delivery system may include a pallet wrapper system having a turntable, a camera directed toward an area above the turntable, and a stretch wrap dispenser adjacent the turntable. A computer receives images from the camera of multiple sides of a pallet loaded with packages on the turntable. The computer stitches images from different sides of the stack of packages that correspond to the same package. At least one machine learning model may be used to infer SKUs of each package. Optical character recognition may be performed in parallel on the images. The determination of the SKU of each package may be based upon the inferred SKUs and on the OCR.

摘要: There is provided a method for wrapping a load comprising an upper portion defining an upper peripheral surface and a lower portion defining a lower peripheral surface. The method includes configuring a first material dispenser including a first material web in a first starting position and a second material dispenser including a second material web in a second starting position. The method includes and providing a rotation between the load and the material dispensers, such that, upon the rotation, the first material dispenser wraps the upper peripheral surface of the load with the first material web and the second material dispenser wraps the lower peripheral surface of the load with the second material web. The first material dispenser wraps the upper peripheral surface of the load simultaneously while the second material dispenser wraps the lower peripheral surface of the load during at least a portion of a wrapping cycle.

摘要: Disclosed is a robotic system including a telescoping transport conveyor with an automated unloader attached. The automated unloader includes a loading conveyor with at least two articulated robots attached to the first loading conveyor end. The automated unloader includes a control system with logic controlling the unloading of material to be handled from a transport container onto the telescoping transport conveyor, and thence to an automated palletizing system, where materials are loaded on pallets and supported by a pallet sleeve during storage or during transport to a stabilization system where pallet loads are stretch wrapped. Further disclosed are methods for controlling and operating the same to fully automate product unloading, handling, and distribution throughout a material handling facility.

摘要: A system 100 for sheet coil packaging is provided. The system 100 preferably comprises: a sheet coil rotating arrangement 120, arranged to rotate a sheet coil 116 to enable it to be wrapped; first 112 and second 113 industrial robots, having first 108 and second 109 robot arms, arranged to wrap the sheet coil 116 using a wrapping tool 110, using sequences of the first robot arm 108 inserting the wrapping tool 110 into a central hole 118 of the sheet coil 116 and handing over the wrapping tool 110 to the second robot arm 109, and the second robot arm 109 transporting the wrapping tool 110 along the outside of the sheet coil 116 and handing it back to the first robot arm 108, as the sheet coil 116 is rotated by the sheet coil rotating arrangement 120; and two outer edge protection mounting devices 210, 220, arranged at opposite ends of the sheet coil 116 to feed out edge protection material 250 along an outer edge of the sheet coil 116 as the sheet coil 116 is rotated by the sheet coil rotating arrangement 120. The first 112 and second 113 industrial robots are preferably arranged to wrap the sheet coil 116 in synchronization with the feeding out of the edge protection material 250, thereby fixing the edge protection material 250 to the outer edges of the sheet coil 116 by the wrapping as the sheet coil 116 is rotated by the sheet coil rotating arrangement 120.

摘要: A body panel wrapping apparatus is provided, the body panel wrapping apparatus having a frame; a roll receptable associated with the frame and pivotally engaged with a wrapping roll; and a panel engaging portion associated with the frame, wherein the panel engaging portion is configured to be selectively engaged with a panel and selectively rotated about a rotational axis, wherein rotation of the panel engaging portion about the rotational axis is configured to wrap the panel in wrapping from the wrapping roll. The roll receptacle may be configured to selectively increase the force required to rotate the wrapping roll, creating tension to tightly wrap the panel while rotating. The body panel wrapping apparatus may have a rotation controller and foot pedal configured to allow a user to wrap a body panel without a second user. The wrapped panel may fit in a smaller package, reducing shipping costs.
