Abstract: A beverage packaging apparatus comprises a Refrigeration Assembly that keeps the beverage cold all the way to the fill head. The Refrigeration Assembly also allows manufacturers to fill off smaller beverage containers like kegs or larger storage tanks. The apparatus includes an integrated Container Loading Chute, and a Container Depalletizer having a scoop to depalletize containers. The Container Depalletizer integrates with the Container Loading Chute to provide for seamless flow for the Fill Head Assemblies and Seaming Assembly. The apparatus includes a unique integrated UV-C Sanitizing Station. The apparatus includes a conveyor with three fill head assemblies automated by smooth pneumatic actuation. Each fill head assembly has an integrated flow meter to provide precise fluid control. The apparatus includes a single pneumatic, rotary rack and pinion actuation that provides highly repeatable sealing of the container in a very small footprint without requiring sophisticated software to control the seaming operation. Finally, the apparatus includes rinse and dry assembly for the container and an innovative, integrated Accumulation Assembly to hold the completed beverage containers or packages.

Abstract: A package has a plurality of seamless compartments coupled together. A different one of the plurality compartments each includes a different respective one of a plurality of respective void spaces and a different respective one of a plurality of respective void space delimiting surfaces. A different one of a plurality of fill entries each forms a fluent entry into a different respective compartment's void space. At least one fill entry of said plurality is in an elastomeric portion of said package, and the at least one fill entry has a largest cross sectional area which is equal to or less than 25% of a largest cross sectional area of the compartment having the respective void space for which the fill entry forms the fluent entry. Each void space delimiting surface follows an outline of a separate 3D pill shape.

Abstract: Apparatus and methods for lyophilizing and sealing a medicament within a medical delivery device having an opening. The apparatus may include a stopper for sealing the opening. The stopper may have one or more elongated members extending from a base, in a direction that is parallel to a central axis of the base. One or more of the members may be set radially away from the axis and define a coaxial central well. The member or members may define a void. The elongated member or members may engage a device inner wall and support the base away from the opening. The void may provide gas exchange between a device interior and a device exterior. The gas may be a lyophilization byproduct that escapes from the device interior between the inner wall, the base and the member or members. The stopper may be advanced into the device to seal the opening.

Abstract: The present invention involves both an apparatus and an associated method for confirming the presence or absence of closures in a closure nest inside an aseptic chamber. The apparatus comprises a topographical profiler disposed to monitor the closure nests. Vertical displacements in topographical maps obtained by the profiler are compared with information from a database about the nest and closure combinations. Vertical displacements falling outside predetermined upper and lower bounds are deemed absences of closures. The topographical profiler may be disposed outside the aseptic chamber. The system may be automated via a controller and suitable software. In some embodiments the nests and disposed in the monitored area by robotic articulated arms. In other embodiments the closure nests are moved by vacuum pickup systems. The system and method may also be employed to assess the suitability of a closure nest for closing in an aseptic chamber containers in a container nest.

The shipper may also include an insulated liner which is received between the product box and the bladder.
