摘要： A wedge shaped container formed from a folded web of flexible material. The container comprises a base (1), a rear wall (2) connected to the base, and a pair of upstanding side walls decreasing in height from the rear wall to the opposite end of the base. Each side wall is formed of two side wall panels (4, 6) connected at an edge of the base and connected by a hinge joint. From a fold-flat configuration, folding of the rear wall (2) away from the base (1) causes the side wall panels (4, 6) to be folded inwardly into the erected configuration. The container may have an integral lid (8). The invention also extends to a method of making a blank using a sequence of cuts to create unsupported file regions.

摘要： A method of forming a container from a blank of sheet material using a machine is provided. The method includes forming a corner wall by folding a first pair of a plurality of reinforcing panels inwardly towards a respective side panel and into face-to-face contact with a second pair of the plurality of reinforcing panels, rotating the side panels and end panels to be substantially perpendicular to a bottom panel such that an interior surface of at least one reinforcing panel of the plurality of reinforcing panels is in contact with an interior surface of the first side panel, and coupling at least one other reinforcing panel of the plurality of reinforcing panels to one of the end panels to form the container.

The blank includes a bottom panel, first and second side panels connected to the bottom panel at opposing lateral edges, and first and second end portions located at opposing longitudinal ends of the blank. A front panel extends from the base panel and extends from a first one of the end panels to a second one of the end panels. The end panels taper so top edges of the front and back panels are either longer or shorter than bottom edges of the front and back panels. Each end panel includes a plurality of overlapping end flaps adhered to one another. The end flaps of each of the end panels are connected to a respective one of the base panel and each of the front and back panel at respective fold lines.
