摘要： A package includes a base, a lid, and a locking mechanism. The locking mechanism includes an arm and a flexible member. The arm extends from the lid and has a first engaging structure. The member includes a flexible rib connected to a base floor, and a second engaging structure and a contact structure on a rib outer surface. The member flexes in response to a first force applied in a first direction to the contact structure and relaxes in response to absence of the first force. The member engages the first and second engaging structures based on the member being relaxed while the lid is closed. The member disengages the first and second engaging structures based on the member being flexed while the lid is closed. The lid may be opened based on applying a second force to the lid in a second direction while the member is flexed.

摘要： Disclosed herein are modular container systems having child-resistant containers, tray inserts and tray frames. Also disclosed are methods using the modular container systems and methods of storing substances in containers. The containers have a container base and a container cap and provide for child-resistant containers. A user can releasably remove the container cap from container base with a squeeze and lift sequence. For example, the user squeezes opposite sides of the container base, which releases a locking mechanism and allows for removal of the cap by lifting or pulling the container cap off from the container base. The components of the modular container system are modular and stackable. The modular system allow for organized, efficient, accessible and storage of the child-resistant containers. The modular container system also allows for easy counting, sorting and processing of the containers.

摘要： A child-resistant container including a container body, a lid, and at least one resilient tab is provided. The lid is pivotable about an axis through a hinge joining the lid to the container body to open and close the container. The resilient tab has a proximal portion fixed to the lid, a distal portion projecting from the lid, and at least one abutment on the distal portion. The abutment on the distal portion of the tab is normally biased into engagement with an abutment on the container body when the lid is in its closed position. The distal portion of the tab is displaceable against the bias to disengage the abutment of the tab from the abutment of the container. Displacement of the tab releases the lid so that it can be pivoted about the hinge to open the container.

摘要： The technology disclosed herein includes a method of manufacturing a packaging apparatus including an outer sleeve and an inner sleeve. The method includes assembling the outer sleeve including a first glue lap and a bottom panel. Assembling the outer sleeve includes applying at least two glue lines on the first glue lap. Assembling the outer sleeve also includes folding the first glue lap onto the bottom panel such that the at least two glue lines adhere the first glue lap to the bottom panel. The method also includes assembling the inner sleeve using a second folder/gluer. The inner sleeve comprises a locking tab configured to interface the locking ridge of the outer sleeve to secure the inner sleeve within the outer sleeve. The method further includes assembling the packaging apparatus by inserting the inner sleeve into the outer sleeve.

The outer cover initially moves with respect to the container by pushing the front of the container and moving the outer cover such that the minor front flap of the outer cover clears the minor exterior flap of the container allowing the container assembly to be moved from the closed position to an open position.
