    摘要: A device for releasably and adjustably securing a medical tube includes a receiver and a tail, which may be used for thoracostomy. The receiver has a receiver aperture and receiver teeth. The tail has center holes along a central axis of the device. Raised tail teeth are formed on the tail between the central axis and the tail sides. The tail teeth are arranged to engage the receiver teeth when an end of the tail is fed through the receiver aperture to form a tail loop. The receiver teeth define receiver teeth apertures that are smaller than the receiver aperture. The tail loop is adjustable to tighten around the medical tube.

    摘要: In a locking structure of a cable tie, the cable tie includes a strap portion and a head portion. A first locking hole at a proximal end of the strap portion, and a second locking hole of the head portion, are formed in a shape wherein their widths in a short-side direction of the strap portion are longer than those in a longitudinal direction of the strap portion, and include a first inner wall surface and a second inner wall surface, respectively, that extend in a direction substantially orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the strap portion, on the side nearer to the proximal end of the cable tie. The distal end of the strap portion has a protruded portion that protrudes through the first locking hole and into the second locking hole.

    摘要: A cable tie having a strain sensing device incorporated therein. In one embodiment, the strain sensing device is a fiber Bragg grating (FBG), which is preferably molded within the strap. In this case, the cable tie further includes a socket in optical communication with the fiber Bragg grating for coupling of the cable tie to an external light source. In another embodiment, the strain sensing device is a mechanical fuse that activates in the presence of a predetermined amount of strain on the cable tie. The mechanical fuse is preferably disposed on the strap and is made of a fuse material having a mechanical strength lower than a mechanical strength of the material of the strap so that the mechanical fuse will fracture or deform earlier than the material of the underlying strap when both the fuse and the strap experience the same increasing strain.

    摘要: A cable tie includes a band having a first end and a second end. The cable tie also includes a housing, affixed to the band near the second end, with a first opening to receive the first end of the band, configured to lock the first end of the band in place when the housing receives the first end via the first opening. The band includes an ear clamp. The ear clamp includes: a front wall perpendicular to a top surface of the band; a rear wall perpendicular to the top surface of the band; and a top panel parallel to the top surface of the band and perpendicular to both the front wall and the rear wall. One end of the front wall is adjoined to the first end; one end of the rear wall is adjoined to the second end; one end of the top panel is adjoined to the other end of the front wall; and the other end of the top panel is adjoined to the other end of the rear wall. When the band is wrapped about one or more items, the first end is inserted into the housing, and the band is tightened about the items, the cable tie is in a closed configuration.

    摘要: A quick-connect tie down system includes a grip base with a separable C-shaped clamping bracket which is interconnected thereto by a durable strap. A ratchet assembly mounted on the grip base winds the strap onto a spool to draw C-shaped clamping bracket toward a second removable connector to sandwich a portion of an article to a portion of a vehicle or secondary article. Use of one quick-connect tie down system at each end of the article ensures its retention to a vehicle or secondary article. Extension straps are provided to afford added flexibility of usage.

The tag feeder is provided with a feeding mechanism with at least one pusher means for transporting a chain of tags. The pusher means is reversible movable parallel to the feeding direction between a first and second position wherein, in the first position, the pusher means is in a minimum displacement to the dispensing position, and wherein, in the second position, the pusher means are in a maximum displacement to the dispensing position. The feeding mechanism comprises at least one cutting tool for cutting-off the foremost tag of the chain of tags, viewed in the feeding direction, in the first position and at least one clamping device for clamping the chain of tags when the foremost tag is arranged in the first position.
