    Abstract: A tank for a railway tank car includes an outer tank, a nozzle, a fittings plate, and a set of pipes. The nozzle protrudes through the outer tank such that an outer edge of the nozzle extends past an exterior surface of the outer tank. An intersection between the nozzle and the outer tank defines an opening in the outer tank. The fittings plate is welded to the nozzle around the outer edge of the nozzle. The set of pipes pass through the fittings plate and into the outer tank through the nozzle. The set of pipes includes pipes to load and/or unload fluid from the tank.

    Abstract: A prefabricated mobile structure (e.g., substantially in the shape of a rectangular prism) that is substantially shorter than a standard 20-foot shipping container. The mobile structure includes an extension member extending outwardly from each respective upper corner of the structure substantially parallel to the structure's primary axis. Each extension member comprises an attachment point that is adapted to connect with a support portion of a spreader configured to engage with corner fittings of a standard 20-foot freight container. The respective extension members effectively extend the length of the attachment profile of the mobile structure while maintaining a shorter primary body portion. This may allow the prefabricated mobile structure to, for example, be lifted by a lifting device, such as a spreader, that is adapted for lifting a standard 20-foot shipping container while the prefabricated mobile structure's body remains compact enough to be loaded onto a CROP sled for transport.

    Abstract: A corrugated storage container is provided that includes a box section with a top wall and corrugated side walls and end walls, a tapered funnel section extending downwardly from the box section and a frame supporting the box section and the funnel section. The frame includes vertical posts that are integrally joined with the box section and a base section formed at the lower end of the vertical posts and supporting the funnel section. The configuration of the corrugated storage container provides approximately 600 cubic feet of enclosed interior volume capable of storing between 50,000 and 51,000 pounds of bulk material.

    Abstract: A modular loading system may include structural beams and modular beams that can be located in a shipping container. The structural beams can be arranged in a first direction, and the modular beams can be arranged in a second direction that is approximately perpendicular to the first direction. The structural beams can include a fixed contact surface and an adjustable contact surface positioned opposite the fixed contact surface for stabilizing the modular loading system in approximately the first direction. The modular beams can include receiving notches sized to receive a locking bar for stabilizing the modular loading system in a third direction that is approximately perpendicular to the first direction and the second direction.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a mobile storage system having a mobile container with an automated storage and retrieval system arranged inside. The automated storage and retrieval system has a storage grid structure having vertical members defining multiple columns, such as storage columns for storing storage bins on top of each other in vertical stacks. The vertical members are interconnected at their upper ends by a first rail system arranged to guide at least one bin handling vehicle thereon. The bin handling vehicle is configured to raise storage bins from, and lower storage bins into, the storage columns, and to transport the storage bins above the storage columns. The invention also relates to a method for providing such a system. The invention also relates to a mobile storage system having a plurality of mobile containers connected together and a method for providing such a system.
