Abstract: Disclosed is an arrangement for granulating polymer material, having a housing with a gas supply line, connected opposite the latter to the housing, having a rectangular cross-section, a granulating unit located at least partially in the housing and having a perforated plate of a feed or plasticising unit feeding into the housing, and a scraper which crushes or separates the material emerging through the recesses of the perforated plate, wherein in a plane running parallel to the plane of the perforated plate, the two lateral wall surfaces of the gas discharge line perpendicular to this plane include an angle α2 with one another, and the two lateral wall surfaces of the gas supply line perpendicular to this plane include an angle α1, wherein the two angles α1, α2 open towards the housing and wherein the angle α1 is greater than the angle α2.

Abstract: Vapor phase transport systems and methods of depositing perovskite films are described. In an embodiment, a deposition method includes feeding a perovskite solution or constituent powder to a vaporizer, followed by vaporization and depositing the constituent vapor as a perovskite film. In an embodiment, a deposition system and method includes vaporizing different perovskite precursors in different vaporization zones at different temperatures, followed by mixing the vaporized precursors to form a constituent vapor, and depositing the constituent vapor as a perovskite film.

Abstract: A sectional control device controls the flow of particulate material from a meter assembly to a primary manifold of an air seeding system. The sectional control device includes a plate assembly having particulate openings extending between the meter assembly and the primary manifold and a shut-off mechanism configured to control the flow of the particulate material through the particulate openings. The shut-off mechanism includes a gate configured to slide between an open position, where particulate material can flow through the particulate opening, and a closed position, where particulate material is prevented from flowing through the particulate opening. The shut-off mechanism also includes an actuator configured to drive the gate between the open position and the closed position.

The transport velocity of a dune or layer and the velocity of pneumatic fluid passing the dune or layer in the transport line are determined. A difference between the determined dune or layer transport velocity and the determined passing fluid velocity is controlled by controlling the pneumatic fluid flow in the transport line. An optical sensor and a computer program product for use with the method and system are provided.
