The web guide has an arcuate surface including three sections with the second section located between the first and third sections. The arcuate surface includes a peak in the second section. The roller, having a diameter and rotational axis, includes three sections with the second section located between the first and third section as viewed along the rotational axis. The diameter of the roller in the first and third sections is greater than in the second section. The three sections of the web guide correspond to the three sections of the roller such that the contour of the arcuate surface causes the print media, after leaving the web guide, to contact the first and third sections of the roller prior to contacting the second section of the roller.

    摘要： A tubular cylinder (2) is disclosed for handling plastic film webs in connection with production of thin plastic film, e.g. thin packing film. The cylinder (2) includes an outer tube (4) having radial apertures (6) that communicate with an inner tube (8) which is coaxial relative to the outer tube (4). Radial longitudinal partitionings (10) divide the space between the inner and outer tube into longitudinal curving ducts (12). The inner tube (8) is connected with a tubular duct (14) for the supply of air. The cylinder (2) includes bearings at opposite ends which rotatably support the cylinder (2) to rotate. The radial nozzle apertures (6) are disposed along two helical lines so that a helix at the first side of the center plane (20) is wound in a direction opposite a helix at the second side of the center plane (20). The radial nozzle apertures (6) are disposed at an outward angle outward relative to the radial center plane.

This roller assembly includes a roller for transporting a web, the roller having an axis; a web wrapped partially around the roller and applying a load on the roller transverse to the axis; and a trolley roller contacting the roller, the trolley roller configured and arranged to impart a sufficient force on the roller to keep the axis of the roller linear under said load.

    摘要： An apparatus for laminating a fabric material to a part broadly comprises a vacuum table, a cutting element, a plurality of pinch rollers, and a plurality of compaction rollers. The vacuum table receives the fabric material from a supply spool and retains the material while the cutting element cuts scrap material from the sides of the fabric material. The pinch rollers receive the fabric material after the scrap material has been cut and are configured to stretch the fabric material from a center line outward toward the edges of the material. The compaction rollers receive the fabric material from the pinch rollers and are configured to press the fabric material against a surface of the part.
