摘要: A system for positioning equipment comprises a hoist including an electric motor coupled to a pulley for exerting a pulling force upon a tension member that extends to a distal end configured to attach to an elevated structure. The system also comprises a portable power supply including a battery supplying DC power, and an inverter configured to generate and supply AC power to the hoist for driving the electric motor and thereby lifting the hoist toward the elevated structure. A method for pre-positioning a hoist comprises attaching a tension member of a hoist to an elevated structure; generating AC power from a DC source by an inverter of a portable power supply; and lifting the hoist using the portable power supply. Thus, the hoist can be pre-positioned in an elevated location before utility power is available.

摘要: A hoisting system for hoisting a load includes: i) a main winch system having a main rope with an end connector mounted to an end of the main rope, ii) an auxiliary winch system having an auxiliary rope having at least one rope connector of which at least one is a splitable rope connector, the auxiliary rope comprising a first section and a second section connected to the first section via the splitable rope connector, wherein the splitable rope connector comprises at least two connector parts that are releasably connected with each other for allowing quick disconnection and reconnection between the second section and the first section, wherein the connector parts (are configured for releasably connecting with the end connector of the main rope, and iii) a hang-off point placed and configured for at least temporarily holding a respective rope connector of the auxiliary rope for transferring the load to the hang-off point. The system may include two auxiliary winch systems.

摘要: A safe metal free and hookless winch rope includes a stopper knot formed at an end of the winch rope that is opposite an end of the winch rope intended to be wound around a winch, and a plurality of brummel style openings formed inline along at least a portion of the winch rope. The stopper knot can be selectively inserted into any brummel style opening of the plurality of brummel style openings to wrap around an object during a winch operation and the stopper knot will be securely held in the selected brummel style opening when the winch rope is under tension during the winch operation.

摘要: A lifting cabinet has left and right lifting mechanisms each comprising a steel cable; a power mechanism which is connected with a first end of the steel cable; an internal guide rail which is connected with a second end of the steel cable; and an external guide rail which is fixed on a frame of the lifting cabinet and is configured with an accommodation space therein. The internal guide rail is located within the accommodation space. The lifting cabinet solves the problem of exposure of the steel cable.

摘要: The present invention relates to a hoisting winch, in particular to a hoisting gear winch, having a hoisting drum whose winding region is bounded by two lateral flanged wheels, wherein at least one further flanged wheel is provided between the lateral flanged wheels for dividing the winding region into at least two part winding regions, wherein the cable can be guided beyond the named further flanged wheel into the at least two part winding regions. It is suggested in accordance with the invention to move the hoisting drum and/or a transverse cable guide arranged in front of the hoisting drum transversely to the longitudinal direction of the running in/running off cable approximately in the longitudinal direction of the drum and/or to adjust the angular position of the hoisting drum transversely to the longitudinal direction of the drum with respect to at least one transverse axis.
