摘要: A method for production of phosphate compounds comprises dissolving of a raw material comprising phosphorus, aluminium and iron, in a mineral acid. Insoluble residues from the dissolving step are separated. Iron hydroxide is added causing precipitation of phosphate compounds. The precipitated phosphate compounds are removed. The phosphate compounds are dissolved by an alkaline solution. Iron hydroxide is filtered out. Lime is added, causing precipitation of calcium phosphate. The precipitated calcium phosphate is separated. The leach solution after the separating of precipitated calcium phosphate is recycled to be used for dissolving phosphate compounds by an alkaline solution.

摘要: The invention provides an ion-trapping agent for a lithium-ion rechargeable battery, which traps impurity metal ions generated from constituent parts of a lithium-ion rechargeable battery with high selectivity, has high adsorption capacity per unit mass, suppresses the occurrence of short circuit derived from impurities, and renders a liquid neutral such that the lithium-ion rechargeable battery is unlikely to influence an electrolyte solution, thereby imparting a long-life lithium-ion rechargeable battery. The ion-trapping agent for a lithium-ion rechargeable battery of the invention contains at least one phosphate selected from: (A) α-zirconium phosphate having a specific composition in which a certain range of ion exchange groups are substituted by lithium ions; (B) α-titanium phosphate having a specific composition in which a certain range of ion exchange groups are substituted by lithium ions; or (C) aluminium dihydrogen triphosphate having a specific composition in which a certain range of ion exchange groups are substituted by lithium ions.

摘要: APs are made by binary condensation via base-to-acid or acid-to-base routes. In the base-to-acid route, an aluminum hydroxide slurry is added to phosphoric acid that reacts to produce an aluminum phosphate condensate. In the acid-to-base route, phosphoric acid is added to an aluminum hydroxide slurry that reacts to produce an aluminum phosphate condensate. In an alternative base-to-acid route, an acidic aluminum phosphate is first made by adding phosphoric acid to a first amount of aluminum hydroxide slurry, and such acidic aluminum phosphate is added to a remaining amount of aluminum hydroxide slurry to react and produce an aluminum phosphate condensate. The reactions can be controlled to form an in-situ layered aluminum phosphate. So-formed APs can be amorphous, crystalline, or a combination thereof, and have low oil absorption and surface area, making them particularly useful in such end-use applications as extender pigments in coating compositions, replacing up to 70 wt % of TiO2.

摘要: The present invention relates to methods for preparing amorphous aluminum hydroxyphosphate. An aluminum salt and a phosphate solution are co-mixed at a constant ratio in the presence of a buffer. Preferably, an excess of the phosphate solution is used to act as a buffer. Due to the presence of a buffer, the pH is maintained constant during reaction (after initial rapid equilibration) without active adjustment. The methods are particularly applicable for the large scale manufacturing of aluminum phosphate adjuvant. Aluminum phosphate is used as an adjuvant in vaccine formulations, particularly those including a protein or saccharide antigen.
