Abstract: A high-thermal conductivity grout composition is provided. The composition includes a grout mixture including a cementitious material, a retarder, and a high-thermal k material that advantageously can form a pumpable slurry upon admixture with water. The retarder is present in an amount effective that delays setting of the grout mixture at a target location having a geostatic target temperature of at least 300° F. for at least two hours. The high-thermal k material is present in an amount effective such that the grout mixture has, upon setting at the target location, a thermal conductivity of at least 1 W/m° K.

Abstract: Dispersion-based ready-to-use grout formulations, methods of making such dispersion-based ready-to-use grout formulations, and the resultant grout products that perform as reactive resin grout products. The grout formulations of the invention at least include a water-based acrylic polymer dispersion binder and a water-based acrylate copolymer dispersion binder, in combination with one or more of an alkaline cross-linker, one or more silane adhesion promoters and/or a micro-fiber filler, along with various other constituents, to provide one-part ready-to-use grout formulations that require no mixing prior to use thereof. The resultant grout products of the invention meet performance standards of epoxy grout products, without requiring mixing of composition parts and without any adverse side effects.

Abstract: The present invention provides a rapid-hardening underground pipeline grouting repair polymer and a preparing method thereof for underground pipes. The rapid-hardening underground pipeline grouting repair polymer comprises the base resin and the hardener, weight ratio of which is 2:1-1:1. The base resin comprises 50 to 160 parts by weight of an isocyanate; 20 to 100 parts of a chlorophosphate mixture with a density over 1400 kg/m3; a parts by weight ratio of the isocyanate and chlorophosphate is 1:1-4:1. The hardener comprises 30 to 60 parts by weight of a chlorophosphate mixture with a density over 1400 kg/m3, 5 to 15 parts of a propyl formate, a methyl propionate or a mixture of a propyl formate and a methyl propionate, 15 to 55 parts of a polyol, 1 to 3 parts of a surfactant, 2 to 6 parts of a catalyst, 0 to 0.5 parts of water and 0 to 1 parts of a colorant.

Abstract: The present invention provides for a compressible grout mix for filling an annular gap between a tunnel rock wall surface and a tunnel liner of a tunnel in a rock formation subject to time dependent deformation after excavation and a method of filling the annular gap between a tunnel rock wall surface and a tunnel liner of a tunnel in a rock formation subject to time dependent deformation after excavation utilizing the compressible grout mix for resilient absorption of forces in the hardened state of the compressible grout mix exerted by the time dependent deformation of the rock wall surface into the tunnel opening. The method includes: a. providing the compressible grout mix comprising hydraulic binding agent, bentonite clay, polymer foam particles, water-reducing admixture, water and air, b. placing the compressible grout mix in the annular gap between the tunnel wall rock surface and the tunnel liner, and c. allowing the compressible grout mix to set, wherein the compressible grout mix in the hardened state has a compressible ratio greater than the anticipated time dependent deformation.

Furthermore, a process for producing the liquid component, the use thereof and also specific copolymers are disclosed.
