摘要: A method of cementing in a subterranean formation may include, activating an extended-life cement composition by mixing at least the extended-life cement composition with a liquid activated pozzolan additive comprising a carrier fluid and an activated pozzolan, wherein the extended-life cement composition comprises water, pumice, hydrated lime, and a set retarder; introducing the extended-life cement composition into a subterranean formation; and allowing the extended-life cement composition to set to form a hardened mass in the subterranean formation.

摘要: A multi-component mortar system contains a curable aqueous-phase aluminous cement component A and an initiator component B in aqueous-phase for initiating the curing process. Component A further contains at least one plasticizer, water, and at least one blocking agent selected from phosphoric acid, metaphosphoric acid, phosphorous acid, and phosphonic acids. Component B contains an initiator, at least one retarder, at least one mineral filler, and water. A multi-component system is useful, which is ready-for-use, for chemical fastening of anchoring means, preferably of metal elements, in mineral surfaces, such as structures made of brickwork, concrete, pervious concrete or natural stone as well as its use for chemical fastening of anchoring means.

摘要: A hydratable cement composition which will bond to both asphalt and cementitious substrates is supplied for the repair of various surfaces. The composition comprises of a combination of Portland cement, calcium sulfoaluminate cement or calcium aluminosilicate, and an alkali metal salt activated pozzolonic powder, wherein the Portland cement content of the hydratable portion of the composition is greater than 20%. The composition is free from latex bonding agents and calcium aluminate. The composition is mixed with water to form a typical cement, mortar, or concrete consistency, placed and allowed to cure. The result is a self-adhering patch to damaged surfaces. The hydratable cement composition may also be used to fabricate items of original construction by casting into molds or forms.

摘要: Methods for plasticizing cementitious mixtures having relatively high water/cement ratio (at least 0.40 or higher) are surprisingly improved in terms of dosage efficiency, compared to conventional “superplasticizer” polycarboxylate polymers, when the polycarboxylate polymer is formed from particularly small-sized, specifically selected monomer constituents: (A) polyoxyalkylene monomer represented by the structural formula (R1)(R3)C═C(R2)((CH2)m(CO)nO(CH2)o(AO)pR4) wherein (AO)p represents linear ethylene oxide groups and p is 5-23 and more preferably 5-15; (B) unsaturated carboxylic acid represented by (R5)(R7)C═C(R6)(C(O)OM) wherein M represents an alkali metal, the ratio of component A to component B being 20:80 to 50:50; and, optionally, (C) a hydrophilic monomer represented by (R8)(R9)C═C(R10)(CX) wherein R8, R9, and R10 each represent hydrogen or methyl group, and X represents C(O)NH2, C(O)NHR11, C(O)NR12R13, SO3H, C6H4SO3H, or C(O)NHC(CH3)2CH2SO3H, or mixture thereof, wherein R11, R12, and R13 each represent a C1 to C5 alkyl group.
