    摘要: Inorganic fuel selected from the group of sulphocyanides of noble metals as specially copper, as well as the derivatives of urea and semicarbazide and theirs derivatives and organic fuel selected from the group of thiols with sulphur bound in the —SH group or in the heterocyclic rings and the metal salts of these compounds, mostly cuprous or cupric, which are suitable for the infrared tracer compositions used in bullets. With a suitable oxidant, which is zinc peroxide, the fuel forms binary mixtures that, during combustion, emit radiation in the near-infrared region that is invisible to the naked eye. On the basis of this invention tracer compositions do not require any additional auxiliary pyrotechnic systems. They are intended for use in infrared tracers of conventional calibres of bullet ammunition.

    摘要: In order to obtain a pyrotechnic body free of harmful materials, at least one primary explosive from a group of primary explosives is used, this group including atoxic metal cations of a mono- and a dinitrohydroxydiazobenzene (“diazinate”), a ditetrazole compound of highly nitrated organic compounds from salts of the ditetrazole and aromatic nitro bodies having easily replaceable molecular groups and atoxic metal cations of a dinitrobezofuroxane as primary explosives.

The reducing material includes a reducing metal and, in an optional hydride form, auto disperses products of the reaction by the formation of a gaseous product. The composition can be included in a cavity of a warhead. A method of neutralizing a targeted species and a method of reducing structural integrity of civil engineering structures by reacting the composition are also provided.

    摘要: This invention relates to the production of black body-generating decoy flares for thrusted applications. Compositions are provided which, when combusted, provide black body radiation. The compositions generally include from about 20% to about 60% metal, such as magnesium or aluminum, from about 5% to about 50% ammonium perchlorate, and from about 8% to about 30% binder. Important to operation of the present invention is the production of graphitized carbon upon combustion of the composition. Accordingly, high carbon content materials are added to the compositions. These materials may include from about 5% to about 30% polyaromatic compounds, such as decacyclene, anthracene, and naphthalene. Other suitable high carbon materials include polyolefins. This invention also discloses methods of using these compositions in thrusted decoy flare applications.
