摘要: The invention relates to a method for producing one or more olefins and one or more carboxylic acids, in which one or more paraffins is or are subjected to an oxidative dehydrogenation. For the oxidative dehydrogenation, a reactor (10) having a plurality of reaction zones (11, 12, 13) is used, a gas mixture comprising the one or more paraffins is successively passed through the reaction zones (11, 12, 13), and at least two of the reaction zones (11, 12, 13) are subject to varying temperature influences. The invention also relates to a corresponding system (100).

Mo1.0V0.12-0.49Te0.05-0.17Nb0.10-0.20AlcOd
wherein c is from 0 to 2.0 and d is a number to satisfy the valence of the oxide. The compositions are at least 40 wt. % amorphous as measured by XRD. The disclosure also provides methods of making the compositions.-

摘要: A method for producing a target compound includes distributing a feed mixture at a temperature in a first temperature range to a plurality of parallel reaction tubes of a shell-and-tube reactor, and subjecting the feed mixture in first tube sections of the reaction tubes to heating to a temperature in a second temperature range and in second tube sections of the reaction tubes arranged downstream of the first tube sections to oxidative catalytic conversion using one or more catalysts. A gas mixture flowing out of the second tube sections is brought into contact in third tube sections arranged downstream of the second tube sections with a catalyst which has a volumetric activity below the highest volumetric activity of the one or the plurality of catalysts arranged in the second tube sections. A gas mixture from the third tube sections is withdrawn from the shell-and-tube reactor without further catalytic conversion.

摘要: A process for distributing quench fluid to a stream of product comprising contacting a feed stream with a stream of catalyst to convert the feed stream to product. The quench fluid is sprayed into the stream of product from a first distributor through at least one first opening centered at a first radial position and from a second distributor through at least one second opening centered at a second radial position different from the first radial position. Catalyst is preferably separated from the product stream prior to quenching. The process may include a first set of first distributors and a second set of second distributors.

摘要: Embodiments described in examples herein provide methods and systems for increasing a yield from an oxidative dehydrogenation (ODH) reactor. An exemplary method includes controlling a temperature of a feed gas composition at less than 250° C. The feed gas composition is flowed through a feed preheater to form a heated feed gas, wherein in the feed preheater the feed gas composition is heated to between 150° C. and 250° C. The heated feed gas is flowed into the ODH reactor less than 15 seconds after leaving the feed preheater.

摘要: Systems and methods include providing a gaseous alkane input stream and metal sulfide (MSx) particles that can react with an alkane in the gaseous alkane input stream to generate an alkene, a reduced metal sulfide (MSx−1) particle, and at least one of: hydrogen sulfide (H2S) and at least one sulfur containing compound selected from: S2, CS, and CS2. A product stream can be collected that includes the alkene and at least one of: hydrogen sulfide (H2S) and the at least one sulfur containing compound. A reduced metal sulfide (MSx−1) particle reacts with sulfur in a sulfur stream and can generate the metal sulfide (MSx) particle and hydrogen (H2).
