摘要: Activatable adhesive compositions are disclosed. The activatable adhesive compositions comprise a two-stage polymer particle, comprising a first stage comprising a hydrophilic acrylic polymer having an acid content of less than 200 mg KOH/g, a second stage polymerized within the first stage and comprising a hydrophobic acrylic polymer, and a tackifier soluble in the first stage and the second stage. Further, linerless labels and tapes comprising activatable adhesive compositions are disclosed. Still further, methods for adhering a first substrate to a second substrate using an activatable adhesive composition are also disclosed.

摘要: An adhesive composition containing the polymer derived from the polyether-containing monomer is provided. More specifically, the polyether-containing macromer having a urea (—NH—(C═O)—NH—) or carbamate (—NH—(C═O)—O—) linkage between the polyether group and a (meth)acryloyl group. The adhesive composition is typically a pressure-sensitive adhesive. Additionally, an article is provided that contains the adhesive composition positioned adjacent to a substrate. The articles can be, for example, an adhesive tape or can be part of another article that is flexible and foldable such as, for example, an electronic device that is flexible and/or foldable. The adhesive compositions can be tolerant of high temperature and high humidity conditions (e.g., 65 degrees Celsius and 90 percent relative humidity for 14 days).

摘要: A radical-curable seal member for fuel cell 4 having a glass transition temperature of −40° C. or lower made from a crosslinked product of a radical-curable composition containing (A) (Meth)acrylic polymer having a (meth)acryloyl group at a molecular chain end, (B) Monofunctional (meth)acrylic monomer, (C) Polyfunctional (meth)acrylic monomer and (D) Radical polymerization initiator, wherein the radical-curable composition contains 20 to 90 weight parts of component (B), 1 to 10 weight parts of component (C), 0.01 to 10 weight parts of component (D) with respect to 100 weight parts of component (A), a weight ratio [(B)/(C)] of the component (B) with respect to the component (C) being 4 to 24, and a content [(C)/{(A)+(B)+(C)}] of the component (C) with respect to a total of 100 wt % of the component (A), the component (B), and the component (C) being 1 to 7 wt %.

The resin includes a resin A which includes a repeating unit having a graft chain of a poly(meth)acrylate structure and a repeating unit having an acid group, and the graft chain of a poly(meth)acrylate structure includes a repeating unit represented by the following formula. R1 represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, and R2 represents a hydrocarbon group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms. However, R1 is a hydrogen atom in a case where R2 is a methyl group, and R2 is a hydrocarbon group having 2 or more carbon atoms in a case where R1 is a methyl group.

The resist composition contains a polymer, a solvent, and an aromatic vinyl monomer, and has a content of the aromatic vinyl monomer relative to the polymer of not less than 10 mass ppm and not more than 30,000 mass ppm.

摘要: Alkali-swellable rheology modifier comprising a core-shell polymer comprising a core polymer and a shell comprising at least one shell copolymer layer at least partially cross-linked and containing a mole percent of crosslinking agent greater than the mole percent of crosslinking agent in the core polymer, provided if the mole percent of crosslinking agent in the core polymer is zero, then either the core polymer is greater than 60 wt % of the core-shell polymer; the core polymer comprises at least one associative monomer; at least one shell copolymer layer copolymer comprises at least one associative monomer; and/or the at least one shell copolymer layer that is at least partially cross-linked comprises greater than 3 mole% crosslinking agent. Aqueous compositions comprising the alkali-swellable rheology modifier include personal care formulations, healthcare formulations, agricultural formulations, paint formulations, coating formulations, laundry and fabric care formulations, household cleaning formulations, and industrial and institutional cleaning formulations.

摘要: A multi-stage flexible acrylic resin comprises a branched polymer which is a reaction product of reactants comprising one or more monoethylenically unsaturated ester monomers, a chain transfer agent in an amount of 0.1 to 10 wt. %, and a crosslinker in an amount of 0.1 to 10 wt. %, wherein wt. % is based on total amount of reactants, provided the amount of crosslinker in moles is less than the amount of chain transfer agent in moles. A process for producing the multi-stage flexible acrylic resin is also disclosed.

摘要: A method for preparing a core-shell copolymer includes polymerizing a core by polymerizing 70 to 90 parts by weight of a methyl (meth)acrylate monomer and 1 part to 20 parts by weight of a C2-C12 alkyl (meth)acrylate monomer, based on 100 parts by weight of the total content of the monomer; at a point when a polymerization conversion ratio is 70% to 90% in the polymerization of the core, polymerizing the core by adding and polymerizing 1 part to 10 parts by weight of the methyl (meth)acrylate monomer and 0.04 to 0.7 parts by weight of a polyfunctional acrylic cross-linking agent; and polymerizing a core-shell copolymer by adding and polymerizing 1 to 10 parts by weight of the methyl (meth)acrylate monomer and 1 to 10 parts by weight of an aromatic vinyl monomer in the presence of the core.
